Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichlich und gut. Zimmer sauber und gemütlich. Das Besitzerehepaar war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich hatte Zahnschmerzen und mir wurde mit Hausmitteln und Anteilnahme geholfen.

According to the description we expected a hotel

Grüner Kranz is a good hotel.
Since there has only been very limited catering since Corona, the term Hotel Garni is more appropriate.
Breakfast on weekdays until 9 a.m., drinks until 10 p.m.
The accommodation is very clean. The rooms are very simple. The bed sheets are made of terry cloth. The breakfast selection is average. The windows in the counter area and in the entire lower area are taped up. There is only light at the counter. Everything is very dark. The owners are very friendly.
We had booked for 4 nights through BookingCom. Since a court appointment was suddenly canceled after 2 nights, we asked about an early departure. The owner said that according to the BC, at least 3 nights had to be paid for in this case. Due to further problems with our flight rebooking, we stayed at 4 nights. In retrospect, we realized that the statement made was wrong, since an early departure is entirely at the discretion of the landlord.
For this reason, another point deduction.
The price/performance ratio is not right.

You Got For What You've Paid

After five hours driving, it was fine to be in this hotel. Very friendly welcomed. Quite new room ( new paint ) and warm. The bed sheet was not really smooth when you try to roll your body on the bed, so was the towel. It smelled very good but it's too hard to use it after shower. This hotel is located along a busy street. The breakfast was really good, so many kind of cheese. Good table in the room for working with your laptop and strong wifi.

Guter Stopover

Für die Durchreise ein geeigneter Ort, verkehrsgünstige Lage (aber Zimmer nach vorne bekommen viel von der Straße mit), funktional möbliert und sehr liebenswürdiges Wirtspaar. Überzeugende Tipps für Restaurants gibt es nicht nur im Stadtzentrum (Dionysos!!). Frühstück guter Standard. Faßbier am späten Abend als Absacker ein toller Service!!

Goed geslapen in Rendsburg

Er zijn ongeveer 6 parkeerplaatsen voor het hotel, sommigen zijn best wel smal. We werden vriendelijk ontvangen en naar onze kamer begeleid, die er best nog nieuw uit zag. Bed was best wel stroef, net als de handdoeken. Verder wel goed geslapen. Overdag is de weg wel gehorig, maar die wordt ‘s nachts wel stil. Badkamer is ook ruim genoeg, net als de kamer. Ontbijt is prima, veel soorten beleg. We hebben een fijn verblijf gehad in Rendsburg.
