Nice and quiet

My friends and I came to Pfullingen for our friend's wedding and stayed at this hotel for 4 nights.
I had a single room but it was almost the same size as a double. Furnishing was quite simple but everything was very clean and neat (please see my pictures). Sometimes it seemed to be very cold in the room so I had to turn the radiators on.
The only thing I didn't like about the room is that the pillow was so low, it just almost didn't exist. I meant to ask housekeeping for a couple of extra ones but kept forgetting.
Breakfast was good. Especially I liked various kinds of fresh bread they served.
We rented a car and we were glad to find that the hotel provides a free parking spot in the underground parking in the adjoining building.
The hotel's restaurant usually is a busy place and offers typical German cuisine, wines, and beer. Worth visiting.

Just average hotel for few days

Rooms are ok. Poor break fast. Very few items. Same items everyday. Dull to eat same each day morning.
In second floor it is too dark to locate the rooms and open the room. Either carry torch or use your cell phone. Pit h far. Several complaints made
No response at all. I stayed for 6 days.
It was a struggle. But their restaurant serves good food in dinner time. Had excellant veg dinner and best beer if the town Berg.
Apart the surroundings are good nei g a small town lovely streets and a Sunday market in market square.
People are exceedingly friendly.
Hotel is just average. Nothing much to speak of.

Hotel ok, breakfast can be better

I stayed in this hotel a week working in its area. Place is not bad: it's in the center of the village, that it isn't so big. Structure is not modern, but it still in good condition. My room was clean and the bathroom renovated. A not positive point is the breakfast, every day the same and not so various and large. There's free internet in all building (lounge and in my room) with a login WiFi. Car parking is underground and free; Staff is nice and gentle.

A very nice German traditional culinary experience

I had a very nice German traditional culinary experience in this hotel. I was surprised to see two smiley woman serving 60 people in the restaurant.
You have to try this place if you want to taste the real German culinary culture.
The hotel is nice, clean, little bit tired but very traveler friendly.
I will come back with pleasure.

Good value hotel

My wife and I stayed here for three nights in August 2012 while on a.two week holiday driving around the Black Forest. It was our first stop having flown in to Stuttgart airport. We used the hotel as a base to visit Reutlingen (on the way from the airport), Tubingen (the next day) and Bad Urach (the third day).
When we arrived the staff were very helpful, with the owner speaking better English than our German!. We had a large room, basic but clean, with a bathroom that Americans would regard as small. We were able to park our hire car in the underground car park free of charge.
Breakfast was the usual continental fare of juices, cereals, fruit, yoghurt, cheeses, cooked meats, rolls, coffee, etc, and we had no complaints at all with the food. We ate our evening meal at the hotel on all three nights (out in the beer garden) and all the tables were full; the fact that so many local people used the restaurant every night is a testament to the quality of the food.
Overall a good start to our holiday and certainly good value for money.
