Great location, good hotel.

The Deutsche Kaiser is an imposing building situated half way between the Hauptbahnhof and the Altstadt- ideal for Xmas market and day trips.
Our room, 46, was to the rear and quite large, generally quiet and comfy. Tea and coffee are provided.
Breakfast until 10:00 was a small buffet offering all we needed and the service was helpful and friendly.
There is free WiFi but it was so weak that we tended not to use it.
English is spoken if required. Would happily return.

Perfect!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this hotel. The location was perfect, walking distance from everything. The people working at the hotel were the nicest and most helpful ever. The bed and towels were great and the breakfast (included!) was delicious. It’s located in an old mansion, but the bathroom was modern, the room was huge, there were plenty of fluffy towels, there was a shelf in the bathroom, we had loads of storage, and the view from the window was beautiful. There’s even a small gym. .

I had an enjoyable stay.
A very well located hotel, within the city walls and close to metro U1 and train station.
The room was comfortable, clean and well equipped.
The breakfast options are comprehensive and delicious.
All of the hotel staff were helpful and made a welcoming stay.
There is no difficulty in recommending this hotel.

NOT AS ADVERTISED. AVOID. Despite all the booking sites saying it has parking and accepting bookings from them, this is false. The hotel is rather shabby, not in the best location, and there is some weirdness with the elevator. There are superior options.

Avoid. Not at all as advertised.

We chose this hotel because in the hotel amenities filters it says it has parking. Things false and misleading. We arrived. Had to park in a garage far away as it is impossible to figure out how to access it in the pedestrian zone. When we got to the hotel, they said they didn’t have any parking available and sent us to a lot even Fathers’s away. We are on a multi destination driving vacation with large bags. This simply is not acceptable.
The hotel is tired and need of refurbishment - decrepit carpets and the like. There is some kind of weirdness with the elevator. The location is not actually as good as advertised. I have no idea why it has the misleading high marks as it’s in one of the shabbier parts of the city center.
I really can’t comment on anything else. I just hate that I chose this place for parking and it doesn’t actually have it.

As one of the very few hotels in a prime location in Nuremberg's historic center, we offer a (limited) number of private parking spaces, which, of course, must be reserved in advance by the guest and confirmed by us.
Unfortunately, you had not made a reservation but were outraged that—during peak season and with the hotel fully booked—no parking space was available for you.
With good intentions, I tried again to explain the situation to you politely, whereupon you became aggressive towards me and the staff, even shouting out lies and insults in the street.
A unique occurrence in over 130 years of hotel tradition.
