Lovely hotel, beautifully presented and in a really convenient location. We will be returning without any hesitation next time we visit Mulheim.

Breakfast was not great. For the price they are charging, it can be much, much better. Wifi was really bad. You have to sit in a cornor of the room to get all bars.

Recommended! Nice hotel in Mulheim an der Ruhr.

Nice big room with lovely big beds. Bathroom with bath and swimming in the rain in the pool. Small but fine and clean water. Breakfast fine. Friendly staff.
Oh yes we were very early with check in but could equally in our clean room. Oh, no problem. Nice area especially to the water tor and the biergarten at the lock. Lots of walking and lots of seeing.

it is worth looking behind the facade

View of the beautiful garden, the flair of the old doctor's villa has been preserved, as has the original pool in the garden. The 60 steps to the room on the 3rd floor, which are sometimes very narrow, were a challenge. The room is large, with a very nice bathroom, walk-in closet, writing corner and a very comfortable bed (2 single beds placed together). Very quiet despite the main road and tram in front of the building. Shower gel and shampoo are available, as are hairdryer and make-up mirrors, but no body lotion. Everything is very clean and well-maintained. The flat screen TV is very low, and there are few power sockets. Parking spaces in front of the building, but it gets tight when the building is fully booked. The breakfast selection is extensive, but of simple quality, but the price is reasonable. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The price is completely reasonable for the category and worth recommending.

Small privately run hotel

The hotel is in the city center on a fairly busy street. It's best to ask for a room facing the garden. I had a very large room, everything was clean and in order. There was no kettle, fridge or anything like that.
Breakfast is good. WiFi works and is pretty fast. The staff I dealt with were friendly and helpful.
Parking is a tricky thing. There are a few hotel parking spaces, but there aren't enough of them. Diagonally to the right of the hotel is a parking strip with several spaces, not all of which are occupied at night. These are with a parking ticket, but are free overnight. The 9 parking spaces on the right edge of the strip can be used without a parking ticket.
