Highly recommended!

A family-run hotel with fantastic views of Lake Möhne.
The rooms are modern and very clean. The breakfast buffet is extensive and our dog was allowed to join us for breakfast. The evening menu has a good selection, even for vegetarians, like us. All staff are attentive and friendly.
We will definitely come back.

Unfortunately, when we arrived at the restaurant, the laundry service was handled rather than us receiving the menu. At the game goulash were some dry pieces, unfortunately not so gently cooked.. and a mini scoop of ice cream for 1.80, we are here in March "only" at Möhnesee, too bad

Disappointing

The room was old, worn out and the bed in a miserable condition – uncomfortable and impossible to stay in. Overall, far below what you can expect at the price.
No one was to be found in the entire hotel, no contact person, no Service – the house seemed completely deserted.
I decided to move out and find another hotel.
Nevertheless, I was charged the full amount without having stayed overnight.
Conclusion: Unfortunately not a recommendation.

Family-run lake hotel

The location directly on the lake is very good, separated only by the road,
Our room was a bit cramped, shower and toilet with heel, sink with no shelf in the room, mattresses good, room was very clean, breakfast was very good . Nice terrace, cozy restaurant, unfortunately only breakfast taken.

Family weekend

Very good location by the lake and for trips to the surrounding area, e.g. Soest. Very good breakfast and extremely friendly and attentive staff. Our room was the smallest but adequate. We had a great family weekend and felt very comfortable in the Forsthaus. The food in the restaurant was also good. Absolutely recommended, we would love to go back!
