Stayed in hotel exquisit for 3 nights for a wedding, Hotel is nice , staff very helpful, breakfast was very good, there is a good size indoor swimming pool and sauna.
The location is a bit far from city centre, walking distance 20-30 minutes, there is also a bus stop close to hotel where you can get buses to city center.

Recommended except for small things

Small hotel rooms but clean. Nice staff. Parking very narrow and not enough available. Breakfast buffet sufficient and rich. Evening buffet for everyone. Moderate prices.

Mixed bag

We stayed here for one night while travelling thru the area. We had a reservation and found the place with little difficulty. Some parking places are to be had at the front of the hotel. Entering the lobby my first thought was "Fawlty Towers". There were several people at the desk but it took them a bit to find our reservation on the ancient looking computer. Check-in accomplished we took the tiny elevator, hidden in a back corner of the office, up to our room. The room was clean but small. Bath was clean but the shower was miniscule. I bumped my elbows on the plastic door while washing. Near the sink was a shelf with a box of tissues. This is the first time in my life that I have seen ONE PLY tissues. Grab a handfull if blowing nose. Soap dispensers are squeeze bottles fixed to the wall. Think milking a cow. Towels, while clean are really threadbare and see thru thin. Our room was facing the street but was surprisingly quiet. On to dinner. There was a buffet setup. Usual selections of fresh vegies for a salad and choice of dressing, croutons, bread and rolls. There was also a cauldron of soup. On a separate table were three large serving containers with meat choices - pork, beef and fowl as well as boiled potatoes and soggy rice. The meat was way over cooked and dry. One is better served hitting the salad bar several times. The main dining room is two steps higher than the serving area making it difficult for handicapped people. Looking at the clientele in the dining room it looks like it is mostly single buisness travellers in for a few nights. Breakfast the next morning was a pleasant surprise. The have a very well stocked buffet with raw vegies, cheeses, yoghurt, fresh bread and very good rolls. Huge selection of jams and jellies. Several different types of fish were also available including smoked salmon, matjes filets and herring. There was a warming dish with some nasty dry scrambled eggs, six small sausages and several pieces of burned bacon. Stick to the buffet for a lovely breakfast. It was survivable for one night but would not recommend for a longer stay. Clearly suited to a captive audience.
