Surprisingly good food and location

My wife and I visited for a birthday celebration, to be positively surprised with the high quality of the cooking.
The buffet was well prepared, artfully arranged and tasty. Service staff was helpful and friendly. Also enjoyed the beautiful views.

Miserable hotel with very poor and unfriendly staff

Very unfriendly staff, commitments were not kept, old and dirty, calcified bathroom, breakfast kept minimal, nothing appealing, during our stay a large gathering took place which affected us greatly, there was no more access to the hotel and not enough parking. Refrigerator the minibar defective.

Worst contact with a hotelier we have ever had.

Absolutely unfriendly contact with the owner of the hotel. He reacted very choleric and loudly on the phone when asked a question about the booking before the stay. There was no opportunity to have a conversation. No willingness to compromise at all.

Absolute Tranquility

Tremendously accommodating personnel ~ due to Eurostar uncertainties wouldn’t make the 18:00 check~in & otherwise forfeiture of payment deadline, so asked for an extension to 9:00pm which was given and someone very kindly stayed back to complete the paperwork!!
Full range of continental delicacies, boiled eggs and hams and wonderful range of baps and buns available for breakfast. Pity there wasn’t a coffee making machine available for a second cup of fresh coffee once the flask was emptied.
The surroundings are clean and tidy with walks round the lakes possible amongst the trees and bushes. A delightful spot to stay for a few days and explore the region

Highly recommended for tranquility and nature

Clean and reasonably sized room. Very friendly and helpful staff and owner. The food available at hotel restaurant was very good. Wifi worked smooth throughout the stay.
There's a small lake and nature park surrounding the hotel. A very relaxing and quiet place amongst nature.
