Wonderful experience! And not too far from Munich

Schloss Mörlbach was incredible! We booked out nearly the entire second floor and one large basement room for a total of 29 people during one of the Oktoberfest weekends. The rooms were all clean, well decorated, were as described in terms of beds, and had nice views to the outdoors. The castle is on a large plot of land that is quiet, welcoming, and beautiful. It was quite easy to get to from Munich - both by car (plenty of parking spaces) and by train (S7 from Munich HBF to Icking). There is a large grocery minutes away that has everything you would need. The castle also has a large pantry that stocks snacks, drinks, and beer that you can pay for individually, which was a really nice touch. All the bathrooms were very clean. We had rooms with private bathrooms, but also had the four shared baths to ourselves on the second floor. Communication was very thorough and done by email. We would highly recommend and hope to stay there again someday!

Very bad experience

Repeatedly pressured via WhatsApp and phone to cancel the booking due to overbooking, in order to rent the room to a group. Very unfriendly, lacking empathy, and unfortunately contrary to the pretended concept.

Enchanting Stay at Schloss Mörlbach

I had a fantastic stay at Schloss Mörlbach! The location is stunning, surrounded by beautiful greenery and offering a peaceful retreat. My room was spacious and elegantly decorated, blending modern comfort with historical charm. The on-site restaurant served delicious local dishes, and the staff were friendly and attentive, making me feel truly welcomed. The grounds are lovely for a stroll, adding to the enchanting experience. If you're seeking a unique and relaxing getaway, I highly recommend Schloss Mörlbach!

Individuelles Wohnen an einem traumhaften Ort

Das Konzept im Schloß Mörlbach ist ungewöhnlich, war aber für uns ideal. Wir buchten ein Zimmer im zweiten Stock, das sehr geschmachvoll renoviert und eingerichtet ist, sauber und mit bequemen Matrazen. Auf dem Stockwerk gibt es drei Badezimmer mit Toiletten, ebenfalls gut gepfegt, sauber und mit allem, was man braucht. Einen Stau vor den Bädern gab es nie an diesem Wochenende. In einer schönen, bestens ausgestatteten Küche mit einem großen Esstisch, kann man sich zu jeder Zeit seine Mahlzeiten zubereiten. Einen Laden für das Nötigste befindet sich im Keller. Vom Personal haben wir kaum entwas mitbekommen, wenn man jemanden braucht, muss man suchen oder die Besitzerfamilie anrufen. Bei unserer Ankunft hat das sofort geklappt und wir wurden sehr freundlich herumgeführt und informiert. Die Treppen sind relativ steil und haben hohe Stufen, also keine Barrierefreiheit. Im Schlosspark gackern ein paar Hühner und einige Schafe springen herum und halten den Rasen kurz. Tische, Stühle und Liegen sind für die Gäste vorhanden, auch ein Grill. Hohe Bäume spenden Schatten, an einigen sind auch Schaukeln angebracht. Wir haben uns an diesem idyllischen Ort wohlgefühlt und haben vor, wieder dort zu wohnen, wenn wir in der Gegend sind.

Mal ganz anders, schön im Schloss wohnen!

Welch Juwel! Einmal ganz anderes Wohnen im Schloss (der Schlossherr Abraham ist ein berühmter Visionär im Bereich Musik events! Unbedingt vorher mal googeln, bevor ihr auf ihn trefft!): die Zimmer sind individuell und eher einfach eingerichtet, es gibt keinen Essens-Service, aber im Keller gibt es eine Küche, in der man vieles findet: von super TK Croissant, über Aufschnitt, Eier, Obst, weine mit und ohne Alkohol etc. Auf jeder Etage gibt es perfekt eingerichtete Gemeinschaftsküche, sowas von blitzsauber, dass ich zuhause erst einmal den Kühlschrank auswasche. Blumensträuße machen
Alles noch schöner. Der große Garten mit Hühnern und Schafen ein Traum. Himmlische Ruhe, bis auf den morgendlichen „Weckruf“ der Kapelle mit ihrem Geläut. Preis/Leistung stimmt auch. Im ganzen eine große Freude! Nicht perfekt, aber mit Herz!
