Quiet stay with children in the heart of the Black Forest!

Truly magnificent and very pleasant place, in a quiet area, with a superb garden! The apartment is comfortable, cozy, and very well equipped: you feel right at home there.
We also really loved the Schwarzwald-Plus card, offered by Alter Hirsch during our stay. A real advantage with no less than 80 free activities in the Black Forest (swimming pools, tree climbing, summer tobogganing, tours, etc.)! It allowed us to fully enjoy the region and discover many activities in the surrounding area.
Finally, a big thank you to Svenja, our host, for her warm welcome, her kindness, and her availability.
A very nice place that we recommend without hesitation for a quiet stay in the heart of the Black Forest!

Very clean, everything there, from the hairdryer to the hair wash. A great breakfast. Can really recommend the property.

Great, small hotel with Black Forest charm.

We always like to come to the Old Deer to visit the family. The rooms are lovingly decorated and very clean. Mrs. Steward is very friendly and open to small special requests. Dogs are welcome. The only drawback: the water has to run for a very long time until it gets warm.
