Excellent stay

I stayed for three nights recently. The staff were brilliant, the place was clean and the atmosphere was great. Central to the main shopping area and station it was very easy to find. Loads of restaurants and bars in the area, but should you decide to stay in the hostel the bar and food they have is great. Karaoke night was a lot of fun.

A weekend in Hamburg

The building is optimally located right by the main train station. All important places can be easily reached on foot. Since I booked directly through the website, I received a free breakfast and a late check-out. I found it positive that the sanitary facilities are in the room. For a small surcharge, you can choose between an upper and lower bed, which I took advantage of.

Overcrowded accommodation

Overcrowded accommodation, which is on the verge of legality; the standards for accommodation are being circumvented so that even more guests can be crammed in. Catastrophic sanitary facilities, where one doubts whether one is in Europe.

Good value for money, terrible guests

The room and bed were fine. The location is really great value for money. There was a weird guest in my room that made some loud banging noises in the en-suite in the middle of the night which woke everyone up since the bathroom was tiny and have thin walls. The staff was very willing to help with all my issues.

My Stay at Generator Hamburg

I am impressed with the hotel.
Service at the desk was very friendly and the staff was also helpful. The room was very clean. I also like the pre register and checkout per online. It made everything easy for us.
