Hotel manager under everyone mad!
That's not so bad, though. Room ok, food great, staff great.
What's bad is dealing with employees.
When, as a guest, you can hear the hotel manager screaming at his staff in a key where an orfeige would do him good to get him back on the ground.
Disrespectful, misogynistic, abusive, arrogant and insulting.
And it wasn't just one day and not just one employee.
As a guest, I got sweats from inner anger and will never set foot in the hotel again.

Unfortunately, this time no all-round convincing stay
I have been a guest several times and have always been very satisfied. This time, however, the house could not build on the previous experience.
The hotel was very busy, which you noticed especially in the restaurant. In the evening we had to wait over an hour for the food, and the dishes were served very time-shifted. Some were already ready, while others only got their food.
Unfortunately, the quality of the main courses did not meet the usual level. Several times the meat (deer, corn poularde, pork) was very dry and lacked sauce. In terms of taste, the dishes could not convince. This assessment was also shared by several people from our group.
Overall, therefore, a mixed stay, which I hope will be able to build on the previous positive experiences on the next visit

Good quiet hotel with cutbacks at breakfast
Breakfast is sufficient, but canned fruit salad is not contemporary. The coffee could be tastier. Rolls, scrambled eggs, vegetables, sausage, cheese, cake, cereal ok, but not outstanding.
Dinner (half board) recommended.

An all-round excellent stay at the Gersfelder Hof!
We had the pleasure of spending two days at the Gersfelder Hof – and it was simply the best hotel experience I had in the region.
What particularly distinguished the stay was the consistently warm friendliness of all employees. No matter the time, no matter the situation – the team was attentive, courteous and always eager to fulfill our wishes. And this despite the hotel being well attended!
The gastronomic offer also convinced us completely. It was nice to see that not only seminar groups but also many holiday guests feel comfortable here. A sign of the high quality and excellent service of the house.
A special thank you goes to the boss of the house: The pen with my engraved name is now my constant companion – a truly appreciative gesture!
Conclusion: Anytime again! Thanks to the excellent connection, it is perfectly suited for seminars from all over Germany. And as the icing on the cake, the Rhön has shown its most beautiful side at night – the snow has turned everything into a magical winter fairytale.
