Nice overnight hotel

We booked this hotel as an overnight stay in transit to Austria and back to the Netherlands
We are fine satisfied, breakfast good and diverse, evening food delicious and the beer / wine also tasted good.
And a clean hotel, nice bed and the shower looked clean too!
And an affordable price, a hotel to come back to.

Very poor room for the night at 88 euros

Room 98 is located in the guesthouse of Hotel and Guesthouse Krone, which is not a problem in itself. However, it smelled musty, was furnished with the oldest furniture, had stains on the carpet, damaged and dirty wallpaper, cracks in the bathroom tiles, and rust in the sink and shower.
We will not come back.

About the hotel I can mention little other than that they hardly had time for potential guests. The restaurant was overflowing with people. Upon entering no one at the reception, eventually someone walked by who, when asked if they had a room, could only say that everything was fully booked. Apparently, there was no interest in helping me.

Disturbing experience that ruined our good night rest

Hotel is nice, great location, rooms clean and spacious, staff super friendly. Manager walked an extra mile to accommodate our wishes. However, at 4 AM blood chilling screams of the animals right below our open windows on the back side of the hotel woke us up. This has disturbed both our and our dog's night rest until 5:30 AM. Other hotel guests had the same experience. They shared during breakfast that they went to look for the cause of the screams outside the hotel and saw poor pigs and cows waiting for their slaughtering in a slaughterhouse leaning to the the back side of the hotel. No one should have this experience, let alone tired drivers like me who use this hotel to get much needed sleep and continue their journey the following morning.

Nice hotel. Revive the jare 70 80 and 90

Being able to happily increase sleep experience with my own pillows and earplugs for myself. Fine mattress, duvet and neat linen and plenty of towels. Shower room small but warm and functional. Nice dark room with shutters and tilt-and-turn windows. Very attentive and customer friendly staff. Breakfast in spacious space, ample and wide choice with coffee / tea. Good restaurant for dinner adjacent to the hotel.
