The Hostel is cheap and good if not for the other guests
Our room was nice and clean and also the shared bathroom at first very tidy.
Unfortunately, many guests were very reckless. Late at night, loud conversations were held and doors slammed. In the morning the bathroom was occupied continuously and later it was completely flooded. We wanted to avoid the bathroom on the next floor but it was muddy and garbage was lying around. Too bad you're left to your own devices here.

Fantastic for a lads holiday. Great for short family stays.
Entrance to the hostel is always open but it's a small and quiet area. The main entrance is from the back of the building and not on the main road.
Bathrooms were visibly clean, and were cleaned twice during the 3 night stay we had. Toilet paper and hand soap was present but shampoo and shower gel needs to be brought on your own. The shower and toilet was also clean throughout our stay. They provided small and large towels for each person.
The beds were made of wooden frames and a little shaky but the mattresses were clean, smelled of nothing, and most importantly were comfortable. The room had a small wardrobe and a mirror, a bedside table beside each bed and the room was not crammed at all even though we were 3 adult men staying in one room. The rooms are quiet at night and during our September stay it seemed that not many people were staying in that hostel so that added to the little to no noise. We did meet an American couple who seemed to also enjoy their stay at the Hostel.
The only real downside is the fact the Wi-Fi is truly terrible, we had to use our cellular whilst on the trip. We tried to book a tour in the Neuschwanstein Castle online using the Wi-Fi and the website would not load for us. The things that would load for us took forever and I would just recommend using cellular, it's faster and more reliable pretty much everywhere in Germany.
Overall this place is fantastic if you want to hike the local mountains or to visit the local spots with your friends or family. There were absolutely no needles, no cigarette buds or anything of the sort outside of the hostel and the area is quiet and very safe. I have been to quite a few hostels in my life and this seemed like the most pleasant one I have ever been to.
