Good hotel!

Very friendly staff, very clean and spacious rooms as well as a good location near the lake and center. Parking spaces are available directly in front of the hotel.
A small disadvantage is that the rooms are not air-conditioned and the breakfast could offer a bit more variety. Otherwise everything was excellent!

I didn't want to give so many 5 star reviews in the future, well, and then I stayed at the Merian what a great hotel !! Super big room , a giant bed so cuddly rain shower breakfast was also everything there. Very happy again !!!

Tasteful hotel in Friedrichshafen

A really great hotel - the rooms are beautiful. Large, beautiful and tastefully decorated, good bed, nice bathroom - it's all there, what you need and so even a personal welcome on the wall, so you immediately feel comfortable.
The breakfast was very good, also the room very pleasant again and tasteful.
I was able to park the bike in a locked garage.
Very pleasant was the friendly care and recommendations (restaurant, next day's drive)

a hidden diamond

I try to be careful when making reservations for hotels - I like to find that hidden special place to stay.
The Merian - a modern building - is approx 12 minutes walk from the railway station - with a little uphill walk. There is on site parking if you arrive by car. A bus stop - for regular services into town are just a few minutes walk away, though you could walk in 15 minutes via the lake front - which is beautiful.
Th reception area has an honesty fridge with beers and soft drinks, and plenty of books and leaflets on the local area. note that these are nearly all in German. The receptionist who checked me in was wonderful - full of the zest of life with a big smile. I was immediately made welcome.
The hotel is only two floors, and there is a lift. I was allocated room 210. The room is an excellent size with large windows, and a BIG bed. TV/ great coffee maker, hanging space, and a modern bathroom. A couple of small minor details. I would like somewhere to put my soap/shampoo in the shower, and air con (especially on a hot hot couple of days ) would have made sleeping so much better for me.
The breakfast room, which included a super outdoor shaded patio area, is on the ground floor. Lovely stocked buffet breakfast overall and it all seemed fresh and local. I have to admit I had more than one yoghurt!! yum.
Would I stay here again? yes yes yes....what a super place to stay !

Very good

Very nice hotel. Small but fine. And very well located, you can easily walk into town and to the waterfront.
Rooms are large enough, stylish and clean.
The staff is very friendly and the breakfast good.
Parking available at the house.
