Small, family-run hotel in a quiet location.

This small, family-run hotel is located in the middle of a beautiful park. It couldn't be more relaxed. The rooms are well-equipped and functional. The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. With a bit of luck, you can even see squirrels romping about early in the morning.
For visitors to Augsburg, the location is more ideal than in a city hotel, where there are hardly any hotel parking spaces. It takes about 20 minutes by car to get to the center of Augsburg. But Friedberg itself is also a very pretty little town where you can feel at home and the world still seems to be in order.

Good as expected

Without being chic or extravagant, hotel Park Ambiente is decent and offers a quiet place to sleep. The room is good and clean and the staff is friendly. Don't let google maps mislead you, for some reasons the app sends you to a different location which is near the actual address of the hotel.

Peaceful haven

Lovely hotel in beautiful grounds on the edge of Friedberg. Do your research beforehand on locating it. You go through an industrial area to get there but you would never know. Aldi and Kaufland are thus very close by! Room was good size and shower room was spacious. Good firm bed. Nice quirky decoration. Morrow might have been better on another wall as it was on the direct route to shower room but that is a minor point. Plenty of storage space. Ground floor room has direct access to outside so you go outside to get to dining room for breakfast.Beakfast was a treat.Members of staff were very attentive. Good selection of cereal and cold buffet. Cheeses salami wurst fresh salads boiled eggs fruit and numerous breads and rolls. Excellent value. There is a large car park.Ten minute walk takes you to some excellent restaurants.

Oasis beside industrial places

Don't be put off by the location - bit difficult to find as GPS readings are not exact - they give you the road in front, so you can't see Park Ambiente behind the trees. It really should be clearer on the booking site. Anyway after a lot of trouble we found the entrance gates & what a surprise when we drove in. Lovely gardens & grounds, couldn't believe it. We were met by the owner, extremely friendly & shown to our room. Very quirky decoration, loved it, very clean. He gave us a number of options where to eat that evening & we chose the Greek Restaurant, about 15 minutes walk away, it was fabulous Breakfast was lovely, great selection. Wifi was also excellent. Highly recommend it for an overnight stay.

Good place to stay near Augsburg

This was a nice stay for us. We wanted a quiet place in the proximity of Augsburg.
The hotel is a bit outside the city so it is easier to be reached by car, I am not sure if local transportation is available nearby the location. On the other hand it is a quiet location that also offers a nice garden to relax in. It will actually look like a hotel in the wilderness at evening as many trees are shadowing the rooms.
The hotel does not offer dinner but a few local restaurants can be reached very easy(by car or taxi). Breakfast is decent enough in my opinion, but probably for somebody that prefers a bigger variety of food it may not look so good.
The room was decent in size and with modern furniture. The natural light was amazing as the room had 2 huge windows and a glass door (don't worry you can block the light). Also the bathroom was nice, with a minus for the quite slippery shower floor (the angle of the floor made it slippery when combined with shampoo and water :) ) so you need to be very careful.
There is also a very good wifi available for free and it covers all the area (probably the best speed on the internet that we had while on our 2 weeks vacation in Germany.
The owner was very nice as he greeted us on our arrival, he also was kind to recommend some good places to eat.
I would recommend this location if you need a quick stay in the area.
