Quaint and central place

Clean tidy room and very friendly hosts. Happy to stop my hear next time again.
It is a bit away from the busy street which is great and it is only 4 - 5 minutes away from the train station.
Wifi works well and they are very accommodating in terms of times when i want to have breakfast.

Could not be better: Personal, tasteful, clean, friendly and helpful, an absolutely incredible breakfast. quiet city hotel with charm

Very centrally located, yet quiet city hotel. Very nice, accommodating staff. We were lucky that the weather allowed for breakfast in the small garden. Great breakfast buffet. Room and bathroom very clean. All in all, a very pleasant atmosphere, charming building. We would love to come back.

All in all, a great stay

Exceptionally friendly team. I could check into my room earlier, but I had to check out by 12. Coffee and tea were offered to me free of charge, and there was also a bus/subway ticket. There is a friendly and pleasant atmosphere...

Awful

I booked this hotel at around 7:30 pm and received a confirmation email explaining that I would need to call on arrival to obtain the PIN for the key box. I arrived at approximately 8:45 pm and followed those instructions.
When I called, the owner shouted at me for waking him up. Despite the fact that my booking had already been confirmed and paid for, he then told us to leave. After an unpleasant conversation, he eventually agreed to let us stay and gave us the PIN code. It was a very stressful and unnecessary start to our stay.
The building itself has plenty of character and could be very attractive, but it is in need of some care and maintenance. On a positive note, the breakfast was good and enjoyable.
Unfortunately, no matter how nice the building or breakfast may be, the way we were treated was completely unacceptable. Hospitality is about making guests feel welcome, and this experience was the exact opposite. I would not choose to stay here again.

Thank you very much for your review. Unfortunately, your description of the situation is not entirely accurate. The email you received stated that you should contact the hotel immediately if you were due to arrive after 6.00 pm. Unfortunately, you only did so upon arrival. We had previously tried to contact you by telephone, but were unfortunately unable to reach you. It is sometimes helpful to read the instructions carefully; had you done so, you would have received the code without any problems at the time of booking. Thank you nonetheless for finding our hotel pleasant and for your praise of our breakfast. If the welcome was unpleasant, I would like to apologise for this. This is not actually how we usually welcome our guests.
