Nice location in the old town

The hotel was clean and the bed brquem.The location is great just in the old town and a few steps from the cathedral. Staff was ok so far. Breakfast was so far good .

A very good run family hotel, where you feel comfortable.

A super friendly family run hotel. Small room with sink toilet outside shower 1floor up. It was all right. Very good breakfast only I would have preferred scrambled eggs. Ample breakfast.
THE FLADLED DOLL HAS TASTE GREAT. THANKS TO THE SC COOKER. ALLES SUPER. ALL STAFF SUPER WARM .
THE HOTEL IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
THE FOOD WITH MUCH LOVE COOKED.

Rustic traditional house in Freiburg's pedestrian zone

In the city center of Freiburg I booked myself at the Gasthaus Löwen, which offered a simple but quite inexpensive single room with shared bathroom. From the train station you walk to the hotel about 15 minutes.
To check in you just walk down the hall to the bar, there I found staff.
The hotel rooms are located on the upper floors above the traditional inn, where you encounter the charm of a different era as you walk through the winding, sometimes narrow corridors and stairs along old wooden beams to your room.
My room had a nice view, but a fairly low ceiling, so little air circulated. Ventilation was not a problem and I could sleep well.
For motorists it should be noted that you are not normally allowed to park in front of the hotel (pedestrian zone, car traffic is restricted anyway). But I was allowed to stop short after receiving my rental car for loading with a sign behind the windshield, a nice service.
Overall, I felt comfortable at the Gasthaus Löwen and if you don't have heavy luggage, it is a suitable inexpensive solution.

Friendly restaurant in the city center

The restaurant is conveniently located, the prices ok. But the particularly friendly service is worth highlighting.
The Gasthaus Löwen has not only local food (currently e.g. asparagus) but also a decent wine list with mostly local wines.

Bad and rude to be speechless

Arrived today a group of 50 people through agency from Italy. We sit for lunch, two vegetarians and one lactose intolerant. They bring shin with potatoes for everyone..the 3 of us say we can't eat it since they were warned. They tell us with a rudeness and full of arrogance that they have nothing... besides this... obviously we get up angry saying that we paid .. waiting for the call of the agency... to talk to them... arrives a plate with two peas and four chips thrown on the table like dogs... after the call of the agency they tell us that they do not give a damn our own... obviously we got nervous and after a while they bring us a saucer the one under the coffee cup with two slices of transparent cheese and treated like the "beasts"... they insulted us from the 1 moment they entered until our exit from the place... shameful... did not go there .... or you will see the behaviors I described live.
