Spa absolutely recommended
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel over Easter and would particularly like to highlight the associated spa. Both the classic full-body massage and the cosmetic treatment were simply outstanding.
The team works extremely professionally, responds to the respective needs and creates a very pleasant, welcoming atmosphere. You feel in good hands from the first moment and can relax completely.
We are completely satisfied, very grateful for this soothing break and can recommend the spa without restriction. A real highlight of our stay

The food was excellent and the SPA area, which is accessible from the age of 16, is modern and well equipped. The staff was friendly and helpful and the rooms were quaintly decorated.
However, the price-performance ratio was a bit too high, eg missing in the suite a coffee machine, nowadays standard.Moreover, the hotel was ring-shaped and there was too much carpet for our taste.

4-star hotel far too ring-heard
We - grandparents - were here with our children or our grandchildren; total 6 adults, 3 teenage children. The hotel was practically fully booked over these Easter days. The two young families had a family suite, we had a double room.
Reception, facilities, cuisine were very good, especially the spa area is excellent. The breakfast buffet is also excellent, the dinner was also good (comparative - with surrounding restaurants - but too expensive).
A major disadvantage is the ring hearing (old-style construction) in the suites as well as in the double room.
Although we had assured ourselves before booking regarding quiet rooms, you could hear all doors "falling" loudly into the lock, the steps of the people upstairs were very loud, every step audible, back and forth, back and forth..., the dog barking also through the walls or floors very well audible and frequent.
The toddlers and babies were also very audible from one room to the next; at night, in the morning, during dinner. It is understandable that children's noise is generated when the staff is full, but the staff would have to inform guests or, if necessary, give a discount.
In a 4-star hotel, such noise emissions are not acceptable.

Unfortunately overrated
I can't understand the mainly good reviews and was rather disappointed with our stay, or I would have expected more from a 4* hotel with these prices. The boss didn’t show up all weekend and most of the employees seemed overwhelmed/“shitty”:
- Received about 20 emails before arrival (via booking system and directly), well over half of them were not really necessary
- Indifferent reception at the reception (a staff member also eerily welds)
- Food: they tried hard, but the quality varied enormously (fat-dripping schnitzel, tough roast beef/meat in general, suckling pig crust floating in sauce,...)
- Chaos when checking out with names/room numbers/bills
- Our room smelled/smelled damp. Rooms look much nicer online than in reality

Rude and unprofessional
I would give zero points if it was possible. After being on the road all day, we arrived at the hotel and were received by rude and unprofessional staff. We were made to wait when there was no reason to keep us waiting. There was no welcome to the hotel or the area, any information on where to park or an offer to leave our luggage while the room was being prepared apparently between 3.30pm and 4pm. During the check in process, discussions escalated, but we were refused access to management. The member of staff refused to give us her own name and did not wear a name tag. Having travelled widely, I must say that not once have I been treated with so much disrespect. Very upsetting and disturbing.
