Overnight stay near Garmisch
It was my first stay at this hotel, and I was excited from the very beginning. The rooms are new, modern, and wonderfully furnished. I was lucky to have a room with a balcony, from which there was an impressive view of the Zugspitze and the surrounding mountains.
The hotel is clearly aimed at sporty active guests and offers ideal conditions for hikers, skiers, and anyone who wants to fully experience the nature around Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The spa and fitness area perfectly rounds out the offerings.
The breakfast buffet is fresh, plentiful, and varied, and the staff is consistently friendly and accommodating.
A highly recommended establishment that I would gladly visit again.

Don’t stay out of season, you could locked out and no staff at all
The reason for the bad review is because the hotel is quiet with only a few guests the lock it up and all the staff go home !!
We came back from dinner and the front door is locked and doesn’t even work with a room key.
We had to walk around the back to the trades entrance to get in.
All areas are locked up so cat get a drink, food, etc not even a cup of tea or water.
What if there’s an emergency or something, literally no stuff and all the doors locked up.
So firstly this is terrible service and secondly very dangerous!!
They’re happy to charge full rate though !!

Practical, efficient - yet beautiful
Modern, beautifully coloured, well-appointed rooms with views. Very nice are the bay windows. Practical: 2 double rooms can be partially combined as family rooms.
Good breakfast - with eggs/pancakes to make yourself.
Bicycle/ski storage, small wellness area, parking directly at the house.
We would always come back.

Don’t expect a hot drink after 10pm
In bedroom. No cups/glasses available in bedroom
for hot drinks or water. No complementary coffee/tea in room, also coffee/tea machine in bar turned off at 10pm. Staff attitude variable/aggressive. Need to pay for hot drinks after 10pm.
