Cosy

We stayed for 2 days in this lovely little hotel. It's very conveniently located, close to the railway station and university hospital. The staff at the reception were friendly and helpful. The wifi speed was superb! As for the downside, there is no elevator so be prepared to lug your suitcases up a couple of flights of stairs if you happen to get a room on the third floor. The room is tastefully decorated but is quite tiny, which personally wasn't a problem for us as we were travelling light and only there for a short duration. The breakfast seemed overpriced at 18 euros so we didn't opt for it. Overall a pleasant hotel with only minor glitches

Smal room to very high price!!!!!!!

Stay there 3 nights on a buissnes trip. No personel in reception after 10 pm.
Had to call a phone number to get a code to a key box to get the room key.
Very small room, just about half a meter space around the dubble beed.
Breakfast was not includet in the price in spite of the fact that I have to pay 330 euro/night!!
For that price you can expect much more from a hotel!!!!

Wellington located and friendly staf

We arrive late and their is a key box outside. You need to call the reception by phone. Room was clean and looks pretty new.
breakfast was good but expensive. 19€, and 78€ for the room. Overall I recommend.

Poor wifi and room service for the price

The hotel was one of the few with available rooms in the period I needed. I was disappointed by two things:
1) As I entered the room I checked the blanket and I found that it was wet! I had to have it replaced. They also left a baby cot in the tiny room, which needed to be removed.
2) The wireless network was not working. The first night I asked to fix the problem and after several trials it was fixed. The second night the problem appeared again but I did not want to spend the same amount of time of the day before to have it fixed and I did not use the wifi.
On the positive side, the person at the reception was very helpful and tried as far as he could to solve the problems. For this reason I rise the vote from one to two.

Good location but that is about it

I usually come to Erlangen to visit family and stay in my usual favorite place. However, this time I had no luck and was lucky to find the last available room here in this hotel. For the positive I would say that is very conveniently located and they were very nice arranging a bike for rent. The location is also very good.On the other hand, they seemed flustered in the booking when I arrived. It was very pricey but I guess that is what happens when you get the last room in 50 kms radios. First night I arrived late from my family visit and noticed that I had to enter the hotel with my key as the recepction was closed. I wondered what would happen if I lost the key or it got demagnetized. My room, of course is probably the worst in the whole hotel, located in the first floor. It looks to a little interior patio adjacent to the hotel's restaurant patio so I get plenty, plenty of noise each night. And the room is very hot so I have to choose between sweating all night or hearing noises all night and currently both happen at the same time no matter if I open or close the window. I included breakfast in the prize but is certainly not worth it unless you have certain dietary restrictions.Also I called to complain about the noise but the phone did not work nor the refrigerator in the room.
