Deposit refund slowly
The hotel is very good condition. We had the beautiful river views. We travel around the EU every year and stay in different five star hotel. But unfortunately this is the only one kept our 400 euro deposit more than one week. And we're still waiting for the deposit refund. You can choose it if you don't mind the deposit which is 100 euro per day.

Overall very good offer.
Very nice hotel, great architecture, beautiful and functional furnishings. Breakfast a bit expensive, as is the underground parking. Very good location.

Wedding weekend at the Hyatt
Beautiful hotell in a nice and quiet location, but still in walking distance to everything you might need. Great view, nice facilities and friendly and helpful stay. Everything was perfect.

First Hyatt stay – definitely not the last, despite small mishaps
This was my first stay at a Hyatt hotel – and after this experience, certainly not my last.
I really liked the hotel and its special location in the MediaHarbor. My room on the 16th floor offered a great view and was very pleasant. Another highlight for me was the exceptionally good breakfast.
During my two-day stay, however, there were also two problems: The television did not work at first due to a technical or network problem and could only be brought back into operation later despite initial efforts. On the second evening, there was also a longer wait at the DOX Bar because my food order had not initially reached the kitchen.
The reason I still rate the stay very positively is primarily due to how these situations were handled. The staff members were extremely friendly, personal, and solution-oriented. Because of the television, I was even immediately offered another room, which I did not want to take advantage of due to the move involved. Instead, the hotel found a very generous and uncomplicated solution.
The check-out also remained in my memory as particularly positive: The staff member at the reception remembered me and the incident on her own and conveyed to me very naturally that everything had been taken care of. Exactly such personal moments constitute good service for me.
Errors and technical problems can occur even in a very good hotel. What is decisive for me is how they are handled – and here the Hyatt Regency Düsseldorf really convinced me.
For me, it was a very pleasant first contact with Hyatt. I would love to come back.

Very disappointing stay for our wedding
Very disappointing stay for our wedding.
We had booked a suite at the Hyatt Regency Düsseldorf for our wedding and paid a high price for it. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with our stay and especially with the service.
Especially on such a special day, we would have expected professional, attentive, and respectful treatment. Instead, we experienced the staff at the reception as very rude and disrespectful multiple times.
There were also major problems with housekeeping. Although I had called several times and requested cleaning, our room was cleaned very late on our wedding day. Especially on this day, reliable organization was particularly important to us.
In addition, we had paid extra for our breakfast. Unfortunately, among other things, the bread was forgotten.
Overall, we had imagined our stay for our wedding quite differently. At a hotel of this category and at the price we paid for the suite, we would have expected significantly better service and more appreciation.
Unfortunately, we cannot recommend the Hyatt Regency Düsseldorf based on our experience. It is especially disappointing that this stay should have actually been a wonderful part of our wedding.
