The location is absolutely great whether you want to sightsee in or out of Dresden. Everything was going smoothly. We had a very enjoyable stay.

review of Apartment-Hotel Metz, Dresden

This is a very good hotel in a very handy location in Dresden, and it's excellent value for money. The owner is friendly and efficient, and makes a terrific breakfast. The apartment we had was very generous for two - lots of room and all the facilities we needed. The hotel and apartments are very near the Dresden Neustadt railway station and it only takes 10-15 minutes to walk along the Elbe to Dresden old town. Highly recommended.

Stadt Metz is a small hotel with an extremely high level of personalized service from the owner himself.
It is centrally placed in Neustadt, with a few hundred meters to japanisches Palais and a tram stop just outside.
Large and very well equiped room, excellent breakfast.
Dresden is a city to be seen, absolutely fascinating.
Stadt Metz turned to be a unique place for a stay of five days, we would have loved to stay even longer.

Lovely guesthouse with great location and wonderful host

We stayed 2 nights - the only downside was the staircase to the room!! However, our wonderful host, Tino, helped us with our bags. Otherwise, the location was great with the trams just outside, and a 15 minute walk to the old city center. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. Tino also gave great recommendations for places to visit and eat. We had a very lovely time there.

Excelently located with spacious room, warm and friendly welcome.

Gastehaus Stadt Metz is in an excellent location with two tram lines crossing right next to it to go to City centre or Neustadt. The room we had was quite large consisting a sitting area, bed and another seperate dining area and a bathroom. All areas were spacious and heated well. On our arrival and departure manager Tino Schuster carried our two suitcases up and down on stairs as there was no lift. Room serviced daily and staff were very friendly and warm.
Very highly recommended for any single, couple or family travellers. We can not comment about breakfast as we opted out. We slept well despite the room was in street side with trams running. Payment in cash or by card possible.
