We had a very nice room on the second floor that had river and the castle view. The hotel is modern and seemed recently renovated. Everything is clean and staff are nice and helpful. It is not in the town center, but just 2-3 minutes walk away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. Parking is available at the back of the hotel for a small fee. The only drawback is that it had no air conditioning. Even then, I still love the hotel

Absolutely fantastic when it comes to decorative concept. Beautiful and bold rooms in a very well preserved building. Quiet common areas and very good taste.
Reasonable breakfast, friendly staff, private parking.

We were deeply embarrassed in front of the hotel owners due to a mistake on our part. The hotel has a beautiful location and fascinating architecture. Thank you so much for your gracious demeanor.

Service desert?

We were cycling and had station in Cochem.
Hotels and luggage transport was organized by a tour company.
At 4:30 p.m., the suitcases arrived at the hotel, but otherwise no hotel staff were there, the suitcases were in front of the locked hotel entrance.
After a telephone call to the door indicated at the entrance, it was opened by the hotel owner by remote control. Everything else took care of itself, from the inside we were able to open the basement and put the wheels under.
The room key was in the room door and no one disturbed us, the two suitcases a 20 kg together with the wheel bags and the Accus in over 40 steps to the 2. Floor to balance.
We have the impression that this guest care is nasty in the house.
It could be problematic for older guests (we are only about 70) not bad, nobody sees it, except the web cam surveillance of the house.
Who likes it and who is equipped, for sure it is a great .accommodation, we like such a service loosely oriented future, but not so much - but that's a matter of taste.
