It seems this hotel cannot handle the truth and has truthful reviews deleted.
Once again: The staff was nice and helpful. The breakfast buffet was meager, however, as scrambled eggs and boiled eggs, among other things, were missing.
The rooms are dirty. There is no talk of cleanliness. Spiderwebs hang down from the ceilings, the carpet baseboards are coming loose, and there is a thin layer of dust on the cabinets. In addition, a handle is missing from one cabinet.
Overall, the condition of the rooms does not meet the standard one should expect from a hotel.

There is still room for improvement

The hotel is very well located on the beautiful hiking trails of the Thuringian Forest.
The hotel itself is getting old and would have to be dressed up a bit with a little love.
The food was at youth hostel level. If you don't have great expectations, you won't be disappointed.
