Totally overpriced!

Completely excessive prices,
e.g. plaice 5 euros more expensive than in the Fährhaus in Bad Arnis and then
an impudent and lying response to a bad review!
Plaice for 24.50 without salad, schnitzel 17.50 without salad, that's what they call "average prices" there

Friendly service, large portions but not our taste

We made a stop here on our way to Damp. Food portions are large, too large for lunch. Also not quite the taste we were used to. Even fish and chips and spaghetti were not what our children had hoped for and the minced meat (“Sauerfleich”) was served so cold as if it came direcly out of the freezer.
That said, if one likes a taste of the local kitchen, the price is decent and the service polite.

Friendly and serviceminded but very plain food

Went here with a small dog, 2 children and 2 adults. First of all we were alowed inside the restaurant for dining with our dog. It seems as they have specific tables (in corners) where you can bring your dog. Besides that the waitress automatically found some toy for the children while waiting. Also nice.
The food was ok, but pretty boring. Chips and sausages for the children (of which we didnt expect too much) but the adults ordered to salads with salmon. The fish was fine but the salad was very boring and ordinary. Could have wished for a little more variation in the vegetables.

Es gibt viel zu verbessern

Zimmer ausreichend groß, jedoch die Einrichtung ist nach meinem Geschmack mangelhaft. Zwar ist das Bett gut, aber Schrank und Kommode wenig funktionsfähig. Insbesondere die Kommode hat die besten Tage sehr lange hinter sich. Ich würde diese entsorgen. Die Sauberkeit lässt zu wünschen übrig. Bei einem Aufenthalt mit 5 Übernachtung nicht eine einzige Reinigung. Selbst der Abfallbehälter wurde in der ganzen Zeit nicht geleert. Frühstück ist reichlich und in Ordnung. Das Essen im Restaurant ist geschmacklich gut, aber der Service ist verbesserungswürdig. Beim Tee musste der Zucker nachbestellt werden, Servietten z.T. erst auf Nachfrage, dickflüssige Soße in Sauciere gereicht, jedoch ohne Schöpfmöglichkeit. Als wir um einen Löffel für die Soße baten, kam ein Teelöffel !!!

Restaurantbesuch

Tisch für 19.15 Uhr bestellt. Leider bis 20.10 Uhr vergeblich versucht, die Aufmerksamkeit der Bedienung zu erwecken. Dezente Handzeichen, später Winken und Reinbringen der Gläser, die noch auf dem Tisch standen, blieb auch ohne Erfolg. In der Zeit wurden 5 Tische, die später gekommen waren, bedient. Es war nicht einmal möglich, Getränke zu bestellen. Um 20.10 Uhr hieß es dann „Tut mir leid, die Küche hat jetzt geschlossen“. Habe so etwas unfähiges bisher nicht erlebt.
