Beware of the trap.

At check-in, there was a device that did not work—frustrated guests before us, frustrated guests after us, who, like us, arrived at the empty hotel and their rooms after a phone call with the operator after three-quarters of an hour.
The hotel bar was closed, the minibar was empty, and there were no vending machines for drinks.
The next day, we had to pay, even though we were staying one day longer.
At 3 PM, the room had still not been cleaned, and no towels had been changed.
The maid, when addressed about this, nodded in agreement, even though she definitely could not understand me.
In the evening around 8 PM, the room still had not been cleaned, and there was no one present in the entire hotel. A phone call to the operator ended without results. He simply did not care.
Booked through Booking.com, we expected a functioning hotel of a higher category, but we received a hotel in transition where nothing, absolutely nothing, works. And all of this at an inflated price.
Someone wanted to make a lot of money very quickly—may they not succeed!

Reference to our stay at Hotel Andersen:
We are now the third year guests at this hotel and so far everything has always been fine. This time we were all the more shocked by the new parking fees. Parking used to be free, but now guests suddenly have to pay for it.
Even more incomprehensible for us is the calculation:
We arrived at 3pm and leave the next morning at 8am, so after just one night. Nevertheless, we were charged two days parking fees. We find this very unfair and incomprehensible.
We would have liked long-standing guests to be informed at least transparently about such changes and for the billing to be fair.

Good value for money

Nice reception at reception and helpful hints about restaurants in the area. Adjustment option for the bikes. Large rooms with comfortable beds. Breakfast with attractive offer and freshly prepared egg dishes, but unfortunately not very good coffee.

at the S-Bahn station with connection to Berlin makes it

Located right next to the Birkenwerder S-Bahn (from there it's about 30 minutes to Alex). The hotel offers free parking, the room was neat, but with a rather dated interior. Bathroom was adequate, but the shower had a curtain! (in my opinion, no longer up-to-date). But overall the price-performance ratio was very good
