Group trip also because of the accommodation a complete success!
A group trip was a complete success due to the staff hostess , Mrs. Dietze! Great value for money, very clean, large rooms, very good mattresses, great breakfast buffet, special requests were met immediately if possible!

No service - many mosquitoes
Had booked 2 single rooms for 1 night.
Arrived at 15.00 to a locked door – a note at the door gave a phone number to call, then someone would be there within 15 minutes.
We called, and after almost 25 minutes someone did arrive.
We got our keys, and was told, that they worked with our rooms, back door and outer gate – all other doors would be locked – so we had no access to the sitting/dining room! Restaurant not present - just a room I guess is used for breakfast.
We had wanted to have breakfast the following morning, but was told, it wouldn´t be served until 8:30, and we wished to leave no later than 8, so this was not possible. When we asked for early check out, we were told, that checkout was at 11….this was for us not acceptable, so we asked where to put the keys – were told to leave them in our doors ( wich made our departure extremely complicated as we needed the key to unlock the gate, so a trip back and forth was necessary )
The building had a really bad smell, and although the rooms looked clean, the smell was awfull!
Room A was on the ground floor – it was cold as a fridge.
Room B was on the first floor, and was hot as a sauna – and filled with mosquitoes – my houseband spend 2 hours before bedtime killing bugs, but to no effect – he was unable to sleep, and counted 20 bits when he left.
He ended up waking me up at 4:30, asking if we could leave.
After a VERY short shower – my room only had a 15 liter water heater in the shower! – we left the place at 5:15.
This was the worst place we have ever spend a night, and we would never recommend this place to anybody – even the truck stops along the freeway has a higher standard!
A review on Tripadvisor mentioned a quiet stay. Well the surroundings were quiet (saturday/sunday) but the building was a very noisy concrete building. I could hear people walk around and talk. I even heard notifications on the neighbours phone

unprofessionell---viel zu teuer fuer den gebotenen service
kein empfang nach 16 uhr,nur ein altertuemlicher automat fuer den schluessel
da wir mit diesem nicht zurecht kamen, kam auf anruf nach ca 15 min eine frau mit dem fahrrad.diese benahm sich recht unprofessionell,aber nicht unfreundlich.
zuerst sollten wir ueber die feuertreppe zum zimmer.da ich aber schwerbehindert bin, fuehrte uns diese dame etwas unwillig ueber die im hause befindliche treppe zum zimmer.
erst auf anfrage wurde uns gesagt,wo der wifi-code steht.kein wasser ohne bezahlung im zimmer,wie sonst ueberall ueblich.
muss sagen, dass wir schon einmal vor jahren dort uebernachtet haben,da war der preis von 59,- euro noch incl. fruehstueck,was ich fuer gerechtfertigt halte.
ich halte aber den preis fuer ein offensichtlich im nebenerwerb,unprofessionell betriebene pension viel zu teuer.
muss als besonderes trotzdem hervorheben.das fruestueck haben wir uns im supermarkt geholt,aber den etwas duennen kaffee bekamen wir wenigstens umsonst.

Ruhige Pension am Saaleufer
Sehr schön gelegene Pension an der Saale in einem ehemaligen DDR-Industriegebiet. Anwesen und Pension sehr gepflegt und liebevoll gestaltet. Gut eingerichtete Zimmer mit Küchenteil und Bad/WC. Empfang mit Frühstücksraum. Sehr wohlschmeckendes Frühstücksbuffet. Freundliche Bedienung und gute Preise. Gut geeignet für Fahrradtour an der Saale.

Panne mit Auto gehabt
Wir hatten am 13.5.18 eine Panne in Leipzig und wurden nach Weißenfels abgeschleppt. Da es Sonntag war mussten wir über Nacht bleiben also fanden wir die Pension. 59€ inkl.frt. super Preis. Die Dame war sehr freundlich, das Zimmer schöner als manch 4 Sterne Hotels und das Frühstück mehr als ausreichend! Das Hotel war ein Notaufenthalt aber wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen! Trotz Kummer schönen Aufenthalt gehabt. Sehr zu empfehlen. Danke
