DO NOT be influenced by negative reviews

I had only read the reviews after booking and I admit I felt like changing hotels. Staying, however, everything has changed. This is a hotel located in an area not too central (Berlin is immense) but very close to the metro station, flagship of this beautiful city. Really low costs, we paid just over 20€ per night and good cleaning of the rooms. Maybe I would change the pillows, too inflated and soft that closed my head in an exaggerated vice but these are insignificant details.
This hotel does NOT deserve the score it has, but much much much more

Pericolosi. Dangerous.

Dangerous.
We booked five nights at this hotel for our holiday in Berlin. A few days before setting off, I asked if late-night check-in was possible; they replied that it was no problem because they had key safes. Then, a few hours before arriving in Berlin, they messaged me to say that check-in would close at 9.30 pm. At that point, terrified at the thought of being left out on the street at 1 am with my young daughter, I started messaging and phoning to ask for an explanation. Anything answers. At 1 am we arrived at the hotel and found ourselves out on the street. The next day I went to ask for an explanation and to be allowed into the room I’d booked, and they told me they’d had problems with the hot water; they blamed Booking.com for not having warned me, but when I asked some of the hotel’s guests, they told me there’d been no technical issues. They’d overbooked and left us out on the street at night with a small child. Dangerous.

Perfect for a low cost trip with friends

Charming structure rich in history, with a very special atmosphere. Despite some negative reviews read before departure, our five night stay was very pleasant. The location is excellent, well connected to the whole city thanks to the metro and the many buses nearby, which makes getting around quick and easy.
The staff was always friendly, helpful and welcoming, and we enjoyed the daily service with the change of towels and the replenishment of essential products. The room, although small, is functional and suitable for resting comfortably after days out and about.
Among the aspects that can be improved we point out a certain tendency to accumulate dust and a limited space for storing clothes, with a small wardrobe and few hangers, not quite adequate for three people. Overall, however, a positive experience that we recommend, especially for the location and charm of the structure.

Doom room

We stayed there some time ago, but I’ve just remembered to write a review. Overall, our experience was very disappointing. Unfortunately, during our visit there was a large event taking place in Berlin, so there were very few accommodation options available. The hotel was not cheap, but what we got felt extremely poor in value. Our room door had been punched through, leaving a hole in it, which made us feel unsafe. The room itself was small, the bathroom was poorly designed and not clean. I would definitely not recommend staying here. The staff were unhelpful and gave us the feeling that we were not welcome – as if their only interest was to take our money and send us away, rather than make sure we had a pleasant stay.

This hotel is to be avoided!!

For me, the worst hotel I've ever seen, the rooms are tiny, there's barely room for the bed, no TV, no breakfast any service, catastrophically priced value for money. Dirt, highly sloppy renovations and mediocrely friendly staff complete the consistently negative impression.
