Penthouse Stay in West Berlin

I booked the penthouse on the 7th floor for our family of 3. Knowing we were visiting Berlin for 5 days, i wanted something spacious and comfortable with enough room to include a rollaway bed, a space that wouldn’t feel cramped. We were very pleased with our choice. The hotel is located off the Ku’damm, a short walk from the Savignyplatz s-bahn in West Berlin, which we took multiple times a day. The trains and public transportation in Berlin are amazing. Lots of restaurants, cafes and shopping nearby. The room included a couple of balconies for sitting, but we were so busy exploring that we didn’t really get a chance to sit and enjoy them. The room is also located in the back of the hotel and was very quiet. No street noise or sounds from other guests. The breakfast buffet was solid, though i realized on our last day that we paid for the 20 euro breakfast which includes menu items, but we were only eating from the buffet. The buffet is only 10 euros, but you can’t book it online. If i could do it again, i would pass on the pre-booked 20 euro breakfast and just pay for the 10 euro breakfast as needed.

Feel-good hotel in a great location

Very friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable room with wardrobe, safe, and refrigerator. The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. Great Asian cuisine. For almost all dishes, a small and large portion are available at very fair prices. Public transportation can be reached quickly in a few minutes' walk. The size of the hotel with 77 rooms creates a family-like atmosphere. We were super satisfied. Absolute recommendation!!

Perfect hotel for a visit to Berlin

Great city hotel on a quiet side street off the Kurfürstendamm. Perfect location. I will be back!

Great location, very helpful staff and great breakfast. Service staff very friendly and helpful, especially Can from breakfast service. Only one thing to point out that was disappointing is the gym can be used by one person at a time, and was booked all mornings for the 3 night stay we had there

Disappointing given the good reviews - only partial AC, noisy roadworks, and dusty.

The staff were friendly and tried their best to help me when things were not going as expected. Slight challenge on arrival was the person didn't speak much/any English and gave me a German T&C agreement to sign, which had to be translated.
They have a rule "for sustainability" reasons that the AC is not turned on unless it is 18C or above outside. However, my room never dropped below 21.5C and was often above 22C. Their view was I just needed to get up in the middle of the night and own the door/window to let cooler air in. However, there were roadworks outside, which started arriving around 6am for an approx. 7am start. You either did with loud people (2300-0230) shouting outside, or roadworks (0600 onwards) as the AC just didn't good enough.
There was no disclosure of this before booking. They were also fully booked which meant moving wasn't possible (although they did offer a worse room...).
The room was also quite dusty, particularly above the bed where the hidden lights are. They did resolve this for me on the second day, but it meant there were a few mites in there the first day, which wasn't ideal for effective sleep!
