I felt itchy in my bed, it felt like bed bugs were all over me,
the check in process was way too complicated and should be simplified
other than that I would say it was a good stay, the shower had hot water and it was powerful,
the staircase needs a really good clean and some more lighting on the staircase especially at the bottom, it feels old and needs to be modernised

TERRIBLE, TO AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE

It's just not a hotel, it looks like parking by the hour. Absolutely not corresponding to the photos, impact on arrival of total lack of hygiene, battery lack of absolute safety. Impact at reception terrible door not opening staff not answering all dilapidated. Soviet style rooms from the 70s. They should pay someone to stay inside.

Worst place in the whole world

A frustrating and disappointing stay. The hotel advertises a 24-hour reception, but in practice, there is no staff available before 8 AM. I arrived exhausted after a 20-hour journey and was unable to access my reservation — the codes and numbers did not work, the phone was unanswered, and no one was on-site to help.
Additionally, the hotel is completely dirty and does not provide any phone number or transparent communication channel to resolve issues.
I couldn’t sleep that night. I ended up spending the early morning hours in a nearby supermarket, unable to rest because I had nowhere to stay. The lack of communication and transparency about reception hours caused a huge headache, forcing me to urgently find alternative accommodation.
I do not recommend Hotel Aster, as it fails to deliver on its promises and shows total disregard for guests.

Estadia frustrante e decepcionante. O hotel anuncia recepção 24 horas, mas na prática não há ninguém disponível antes das 8h da manhã. Cheguei exausto após 20 horas de viagem e fui impedido de acessar minha reserva, com códigos e números que não funcionavam, telefone que não atendia e ninguém no local para ajudar.
Além disso, o hotel é completamente sujo e não oferece nenhum telefone ou canal de comunicação transparente para resolver problemas.
Não consegui dormir naquela noite. Acabei passando a madrugada em um supermercado próximo, sem conseguir descansar, porque não tinha onde ficar. A falta de comunicação e transparência no horário da recepção causou uma enorme dor de cabeça, obrigando-me a buscar outro lugar para dormir às pressas.
Não recomendo o Hotel Aster, que falha em cumprir o que anuncia e demonstra total descaso com os hóspedes.

Disappointing stay

Dirty hotel, especially the corridors and lift. Light bulb failed in the stairwell meaning that the stairs (and only emergency exit) were dangerous to use. Very basic facilities in the poky room, and poor soundproofing. 24-hour reception had been replaced by a self-checkin machine but there was a number to call if any problems were encountered. The free brekfast was suspended during COVID (which ended two years ago!) and guests are now directed to a cafe 50 metres away that charged 10 Euros for a very simple breakfast snack. There are no refreshments of any kind in the hotel or in the room itself, not even a kettle. Overpriced, at more than £100 per night for a single room.
