Long stay really feeling at home

I am in Malerwinkel hotel for a long term stay from April to June 2026. I feel like home, they always smile and offer me lovely espresso macchiato (i come from Italy and it is amazing!!!!). If I need something they are available at reception and make me always happy. And it happened that I forgot to tell them i would be checking in hotel at 1 am in the night so to leave me the key and I texted Steven on sunday at 9 pm and he answered and put the key in the box!!!! Breakfast is delicious, eggs are warm and fresh and they make some smiles on them! So nice! My room Leonardo Da Vinci suite is really comfortable and the bed is king size amazing better than home, and a family. Really.

Extremely disappointed

Characteristic and nice diffused hotel but with several flaws. The worst part is that I had written an email days before arriving asking if there were vegan options. Once I arrived I discover that not only were there no options but also the bread had butter or milk among the ingredients, by the way I am allergic and the ingredients are not specified, which is very serious. To my protests the receptionist replies that the respondent did not know that the bread contained milk suggesting eating fruit or hummus. The fruit consisted of two oranges and two kiwis, I ate only a tiny slice of pineapple. The next day I get black bread probably from the supermarket in an envelope, and I didn't eat. The third morning I skipped breakfast. In short, I paid for a breakfast that I did not use. I think at the reception they can not tell you "then eat fruit" since I paid and I warned in advance. otherwise small room, not very comfortable, noisy, noise from outside and inside. Nobody helps with luggage, despite asking. Cleanliness good. would not recommend and would not stay there again. I felt like I was being played.

inadequate chamber

The hotel is located in an undoubtedly characteristic historic building.
However, I was not satisfied with the stay because of the room where we stayed. Upon arrival it was not ready yet, so they gave us the key and we returned late in the evening. Unfortunately there was no one at the reception, otherwise I would have asked to change it because entering the stench of smoke was really strong. In addition, the room turned out to be very noisy: you could hear commotion from the stairs, the breakfast room and the neighboring room (TV, voices and even the flow of water in the pipes as if it were our bathroom). Unbelievable that a fairly recently renovated environment has not been soundproofed at all. The bathroom was tiny and lacked real doors. It is true that between those who share a hotel room, generally, there is a certain intimacy; but a minimum of privacy when on the toilet seems to me the minimum.
It saves breakfast, made with good quality products, although personally I would expand the choice of dessert with a cake, croissants, cookies and dried fruit: there was none of this. Finally I would advise the management not to send all those frankly unnecessary emails about preregistration, check-in, check-out and the end of the stay. Once the booking confirmation is received, the customer does not need to be spammed.
