Excellent quality for the price

Excellent quality for the price. Welcoming reception, spotlessly clean room, believe I may have been allocated an upgrade as I had a large double room for myself. Was very positively surprised with the experience. Comfy bed. Plenty of parking spaces.

Quiet location and very friendly

Small, family hotel just outside Bayreuth. Beds in the room were relatively new and very comfortable, for the children everything was prepared. The bathroom not brand new, but very well maintained and absolutely clean. The environment is very quiet, the breakfast buffet for 12.30€ absolutely appropriate. Staff very friendly and on bang. Free parking right outside the door. Drinks at the small hotel bar normal (0.5l Bayreuther beer 3.90€). Downtown can be reached in 5 minutes. Car ride, the Hermitage in 2-3 minutes.
We were very satisfied and will certainly come back!

Convenient option for a stopover

We like to use this hotel as an overnight stop in Bayreuth. There is an underground car park, but it makes a gloomy impression.
Rooms are clean and adequate for our purposes.
Breakfast is good and sufficient.
The Asian restaurant in the hotel is a good choice for dinner. We were very satisfied and can recommend the hotel.

Great location for travelers

Clean nice hotel located near Autobahn. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Fair price for the accommodation with good parking facilities.
Looking at the previous reviews I had higher hope for the breakfast which was slightly disappointing.

Excellent hotel with great hospitality

We stayed at the Akzent Grunau hotel in Bayreuth whilst attending the festival, and it proved to be the perfect venue for this purpose. From the moment we arrived, we found the friendly service and hospitality provided absolutely first class.
The hotel has an excellent minibus shuttle service to the Festspielhaus during the festival, and this includes the return journey in the evening. Basically any worries we may have had about anything were taken care of very ably by the lovely lady at reception, and we relaxed and enjoyed our stay very much.
The room was very comfortable and clean, and cleaning staff both friendly and accommodating. The hotel offers a very nice buffet breakfast which we enjoyed each morning. In the same complex there is also a bakers shop and an excellent Chinese restaurant, which we also visited for lunch. A bank and post office are also located within the building, together with a gym and hairdresser.
This hotel is a great find, and we hope to return in the future for further visits to the Bayreuth festival. We would highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit the area.
