This is the perfect hotel for families - tons of activities within the hotel, including shared kitchen indoor playrooms and lots! If outdoor space for kids.
The breakfast was delicious and the staff extremely friendly, professional and helpful.
(We needed an extra blanket we received in an instant)

Simple hostel with mini-rooms and ready-made meals for people without high expectations.

The double rooms (12 sqm) with toilet/shower (5 sqm) without a wardrobe are suitable for 1-2 nights. One should definitely not stay in these cramped rooms for longer. There is no room even for a suitcase. Self-service is the rule in the bar and beer garden. Beer and drinks are expensive and only available in bottles. A restaurant with a lot of fuss but no real quality. They serve quick-prepared meals from the catering service. Sundays are frozen pizza days, going from the freezer to the oven. Overall, a simple hostel for people without high expectations. For many reasons, I cannot recommend this place at all.

Für uns wird es keine zweites mal " Maiers Hotel "geben

Zuerst das Positive: Frühstück sehr Gut und Reichhaltig. Personal sehr freundlich.
" All inclusive light " ? Lunchpaket mit einer kleinen Semmel, einem kleinen Apfel ( davon war einer schon angefault) und einen Müsliriegel pro Person. Wir waren drei Erwachsene und hatten zwei Getränke mit 0,5ltr in unserer Tüte. Auf Nachfrage hieß es, das ist so in Ordnung da jeder nur 0,2Ltr. bekommt ! Abendessen In Ordnung aber man bekommt nur ein Hauptgericht, Suppe bzw. Salat mus man extra bezahlen. Die Verwendung " All inclusive Light " ist für mich Grenzwertig. Getränkeflat von 12.00-20.00 Uhr beinhaltet nur Softdrinks mit 0,2ltr. Wir hatten zum Glück nur 2 Übernachtungen.

Das Hotel hat eine super Lage, in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Großen Arber und zu Bayerisch Eisenstein. Das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen. Das Familienzimmer für uns mit 3 Kindern hat wunderbar gepasst. Der Service war extrem zuvorkommend. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder zurück.
