Absolute quality and value, great location

A total gem right in the centre of the old town. Olde worlde, situated central old town. Huge room, comfortable and clean. Dogs are very welcome. Incredible restaurant, superb quality, amazing choice and value. Well known for its food. Breakfast served in a different part of the hotel and has a canteen feel to it. However amazing, well stocked choice of food. The best coffee we have had in years. Overall you will not find better .. and the reasonable price is a huge bonus. Parking at the hotel. Wi fi, lift

When you don't need to be friendly!

We wanted to go to the restaurant yesterday - on the last day of Sandkerwa - to have dinner and have a drink or two. The first service responded very friendly to us and asked us to a table in the back area in the garden. There, however, we were so unkindly advised that we have to eat our ice cream outside that we have lost the desire for old ringlets. Yes, two of us had a mini ice cream leftover in their cup but we wanted to eat a full meal in this restaurant and told the waitress so too. We were then welcomed and served a few steps further, in another restaurant very friendly. But there was also an above-average tip. The "Old Ringlet" will probably never see me again, because I don't like being addressed like that in front of other people. I can't say anything about the food;).

Central romance

Quaint, sympathetic little hotel in historic walls in the most central location imaginable at the foot of the Domberg, from the train station on foot about 20 minutes - but there is also a parking garage; homely, country-style furnished with lots of natural wood, very well maintained and clean room with free mineral water - although without AC, but a fan provided an acceptable climate (at a good 30 degrees outside temperature). Friendly staff, very excellent, versatile breakfast, very good value for money.
Noise pollution in the night hours by the many surrounding restaurants I could not note.

Pleasant dinner at outdoor patio.

After trying to be seated at a nearby restaurant and treated rudely, we crossed to this cozy plaza and had great service and good food. Some of us chose better than others, but it was very enjoyable. Local Frankish food and we had some of those. I was with 3 native Germans.

Playing cards and singing prohibited

We have been forbidden to play cards in the restaurant belonging to the hotel, with a glass of wine. Singing would also be forbidden by the boss. My comment at the reception that this had not happened to me worldwide. That unfortunately destroyed the overall impression of the room.
