Excellent German.

Beautiful hotel, complete with all necessary services, large and comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast.
Garage at € 15.00/night,
The hotel also offers an attached restaurant service.
The advice is to take a few steps on foot because there are several in the village.

A place to feel good

I stayed 2 nights for a workshop at the hotel. Very friendly staff, whether reception or service. Room very large and modern and very clean!
Food is offered in buffet form, very good quality. Food during the workshop was great. Nothing was missing!

Beautiful long weekend in the Saline1822

We were in August at an Akon health weekend from Thursday to Sunday .When we arrived at 1.30 pm the woman at the reception said our room was already ready , but we should not believe that it will be the same again next time. Check in be at 3pm . That hasn't been so nice. Parking underground garage 12 euros daily and further down the parking lot outdoors 8 euros daily.Apparently there is also a free parking space far away.The hotel and the rooms were very nice.The room with large bathroom with walk-in shower.Breakfast was very good for every taste what there was. We had half board with buffet it was very good .The hotel bar was also very appealing .The staff were otherwise also courteous and helpful. We were already very much looking forward to the spa, but to our regret it was partly demolished or renovated

Decent Hotel

I stayed at the Saline1822 Hotel for three nights with a friend in June 2025. We were there for a health weekend which included half-board and sports and relaxation courses by an external provider. The rooms for our group of twenty (we didn’t know the others beforehand) were booked by the provider.
Our room and bathroom were clean, spacious and modern. However, there was no A/C and the weather was hot. Consequently, the room was hot as well. One of our group said that the rooms on the upper floors of the hotel do have A/C, just the ones on the lower floors don’t. Very strange concept, if that is actually true!
Breakfast was buffet style and was good with lots of choices. Dinner was buffet style as well for our group. Apparently, starters and desserts from the buffet, which were quite good, were available for other hotel guests whereas the main courses were exclusively for our group. The main courses were nothing to write home about. However, I suspect that our health course provider booked the cheapest food option for us (as well as the cheapest rooms).
Overall, the staff were friendly and helpful. However, that couldn’t be said of some of the servers in the bar and restaurant. Some of our group had to wait for a long time before they stopped being ignored and could order their drinks. “Fresh lemonade” was advertised in the bar, but when my friend ordered that, it turned out to be a mixture of canned juices with a couple of dried orange slices. When she pointed out to the waiter that the lemonade wasn’t fresh, he snapped at her: “of course it is, I just made it”. We were quite taken aback!
We both agreed that we will choose a different hotel for our next health trip.
