While a little dated, the room was clean, large and well appointed. We made good use of the excellent spa, pool and grounds. We ate at the restaurant and had, in my opinion the best meal on our 10 day euro motorcycle tour. A simple,but stunning 4 cheese pizza with a large weisbier. Perfect!

Enjoyed another great stay

Even under the new operator couple we enjoyed a nice stay.
The location is very quiet and the Italian food excellent.
The service is just as you would want as a guest.
A highlight is the wellness area.
We will definitely come back.

I'm glad the restaurant reopened. The Mood is not right yet

It is nice that the Salinensee restaurant is open again. The food was delicious. The menu is now dominated by Italian dishes.
The wine was good, but at a restaurant in this price range I expect to name more than the pure grape variety, without specifying the winery, vintage and label whether dry, semi-dry or sweet and description of the aroma.
What I found impossible: The ladies' room is closed for construction and it is requested to use the men's room.

Stay on HOtel Salinensee for business

Staying there for a few days on business. Family owned hotel with a freindly couple who welcomed us very friendly and explained everything in the hotel. We did not use the pool but breakfast option. Breakfast was good, very well equipped with everything you want and you ahve been asked for special requests. Negative was the size of twin bed room size and the size of the bathroom in relation of pricing. Price was € 145,- for 2 persons in a very small room. Request for a room without carpet was negative responded.
Athmospere and qualitzy of the restaurant was average or lower, waitress was extremely friendly. Beer was fresh, cold and good.

quiet, decent accomodation

didn't use the spa, the building is a bit of "old chic" but the room is newly renovated with a large flat screen TV and enough power sockets.
The glass cubicle aquarium style bathroom and toilet I don't like but maybe some others do. Not OK was the sticky, dirty knob of the cupboard at the desk.
Breakfast was good but not outstanding
