A good place to stay if you don't want to drive in Stuttgart

Hotel Gerberhof is a quiet little 'hotel garni' situated very conveniently for the railway station, which was just great for us as we used the train to get to the Wilhelma zoo in Stuttgart. The room was spotless, large and very quiet and the hotel runs an 'honesty bar' system (a fridge in the corridor together with pen & paper) which I found most refreshing (in both senses of the word). Being a 'hotel garni' means that there is no restaurant but Hotel Gerberhof is only 5 minutes walk from the town centre and there many different eating places to chose from. The staff were friendly, very helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of bread, cheese and meats.

Small but good

Visited last tuesday to thursday for business.
Staff are very friendly, i had trouble getting into my room and he lady was very helpful. All rooms are spacious and clean in a great location for surrounding area too!

Small but very good

Stayed there for 1 week in December 2016.
Hotel is small and rooms are small as vell.
Although, hotel has 'spirit' and cozy.
Breackfast is excelent and stuff is very friendly.
I liked that hotel very much and will stay again in future.

Convenient for Tesat

I was working at Tesat which was about 2 minutes walk away.
I had a double corner room which was clean, although the bed had 2 single quilts on it, and the pillows although large, gave no substantial support, I ended up folding one in half repeatedly throughout the night.
Breakfast was average, the only hot food was scrambled egg and Bacon, and all the bacon had gone when I arrived down at 8:30, and was not replenished. The cold buffet appeared to be good quality.
The Tv channel selection was minimal, albeit with a digital Tv, however I failed to get it to pick up a signal on many of the stations. Wifi was free, although I could only get a reliable signal from certain points in the room
