We spent a lovely night at the fab hotel, which has gorgeous views, comfortable beds, big rooms and a luxurious bathroom. The rooms are built into the hillside which makes for a cool look. The silence and stillness of the surroundings were amazing. We had a room on level two, which had the best views of the settting sun.
The restaurant closed at 8 pm, so we missed it, but it looked really great. The next morning we checked out the panoramic viewing tower, lovely views.

Needs a little more “polish” for the service.

Really unusual design of hotel in a gorgeous setting overlooking fields and lovely views which is what attracted us here in the first place on our way from the Uk to Norway by car. The staff were very friendly, especially the guy from Kurdistan who also served us in the restaurant. The room was lovely, just a bit taken aback by the fact that it was set up for one person, the second duvet and pillow were fortunately in the wardrobe and I made the other side of the bed myself. The bed was a little on the firm side for us. A lovely warm evening in June and able to sit out on our patio after our meal which was fortunate as the air conditioning was not at all effective in cooling down the room in any way and with the patio being accessible to all the other rooms, we felt we could not leave the doors open at night. Managed to sleep but quite a warm night, not sure what it would be like if it was even hotter. The meal in the restaurant was delicious and good quality, worth every penny at e34 each which was about an average price of a main course here. What devalued the whole experience was the fact that we were rushed into ordering as the waiter kept saying the kitchen was going to close (our table was booked for 7.30 but we were wanting to make a nice leisurely evening of it) and the food was brought to us literally within minutes of the order, way, way quicker than a German beer keller! Hubby and I had the asparagus special which was a veal schnitzel with white asparagus, broccoli, mange-tout, pakchoi, mash potato, bratkartoffelen with onion and bacon, lovely creamy hollandaise sauce. I love, love, love my veggies but it was a bit over kill even for me. We had a lovely bottle of Malbec wine with the meal, not a large wine offering but good enough and decent prices. Fortunately did not have a starter and certainly could not manage a dessert although we were not offered one as everything was very rushed, kept being told that the kitchen was closing shortly and the waiter wanted to go home. Really surprised that the menu was not offered to us in English seeing as half the restaurant seemed to be English speaking. I would normally rate at 5 star but felt that they really need to add a bit more “polish” to the service for this to be perfect.

We had a late evening booking while travelling with family. The room was booked for 3 persons. 2 adults and 1 child age of 5.
Booking was accepted by hotels.com
At arrival of the property there was no third bed available for child. Also the beds are single - split. There was no extra blanket or pilow in the room. The pillows are the cheapest foam ones you can find so we recommend to bring hour own if you are sensitive in this topic. The cleanness average due to spots on mirors and toilet doors and floor was dirty. Our socks picked up short animal hair while walking in socks in the room. The room was quite cold 18-19 degrees Celsius in the night and there was no possibility to adjust the temperature. There is only restaurant staff available after 20:00 so their couldn't help due to party that was in the premises.
We made it work but definitely not happy and comfortable trough the night...
The breakfast is average and only included black coffee/milk and tea. Special coffee is extra.
The staff did not change us for the extra bed.
Unfortunately this will be our last stay on this hotel and this was our second attempt with the similar results...
The only Plus is the amazing view out of the window!
Due to the party that night it should have been better that they close the possibility to book rooms or put a warning that the 3 bed in the room has to be ordered prior 20:00.
