Great Breakfast, Nice room, helpful staff

Good parking, helpful staff that tried to help me find a mechanic. Close to good restaurants. Very good Breakfast . Quiet area. The hotel is old, but its a nice hotel none the less. I think its good value

Wonderful!

It's so hard to believe that this hotel still stands at the very same location since 1891! Situated in the beautiful town of Anklam, it is definitely a big highlight! The rooms were very spacious, clean and comfortable - it has everything you need for a short (or even long) stay - an in-room mini bar, a TV, huge closets, a table with two chairs, to name a few. The breakfast was a surprise, the spread was unexpected at a hotel in a small town - it was complete, a range of all German food which I was happy to sample and very much enjoyed! There is beauty in Hotel Am Stadtwall, surrounded by pine trees and attractive lights around the hotel and it's huge car park. Definitely my go-to hotel when visiting Anklam! Recommended to all.

Pleasant stay

Stayed at this hotel during a recent motorcycle touring holiday, well located at the end of the main street just off the main roads with its own large car park.
The hotel was clean and well presented and staff were very polite and courteous, our twin room was large and well appointed.
The hotel does not do evening meals but do provide a varied and very tasty breakfast

Plastic flowers all over the place.

I stayed here one night during my cycling trip through Germany. The hotel is located fairly close to the center. The hotel is big in building and has some history. This hotel is a Garni-hotel, so bed and breakfast only. There are not many options for dining in town. Would recommend the Greek restaurant Marathon, in walking distance. My room (# 27 ) was large, but very simple and basic, as is the bathroom. The curtains are very thin and translucent, so the room remains light throughout the night. The hotel has excellent facilities for cyclists.The breakfast is on the first floor in a breakfast room full of shoddy sea and beach knickknacks. The price is very, very reasonable. If you are a fan of plastic, artificial flowers, enjoy your stay, they are everywhere.

Nice hotel near the zentrum

We stayed here on a bike trip along the Oder River. Although the hotel is not new, it is charming and well-maintained with an excellent breakfast buffet. They will serve you an omelette in addition to the typical breakfast fare. Our room was spacious with Internet access and quiet although located on a main street. The price was very reasonable.
