Noble, the world is going to perish.
Since this season, we have been treating ourselves to a permanent camper pitch on Lake Plau, after
we have taken a clear back from professionally.
We explore this beautiful natural region in numerous excursions and are delighted to be surprised by the variety of cultural and culinary offers.
Whether simple or upscale - we almost always find a friendly and binding atmosphere as well as a suitable price-performance ratio.
On one evening of the first weekend of September we inquired about the Plauer Werder. After a short visit, we reserved the fishing at the driveway for an early visit.
We wanted to get to know the holiday park on the Werder that day.
There welcomes a stately driveway overlooking modern and ancient architecture.
On the outdoor terrace, about 15 members of a posh classic car club celebrated the conclusion of a vehicle competition with awards ceremony and dinner; the shiny dream cars placed on the driveway.
Next to it was a group of six.
Inside it was empty and very stuffy.
Four service personnel sat at the counter.
We were placed with menu on the terrace next to the group that was already at dinner. This was the only and last contact with the staff.
After about 10 minutes, the serving of food to the company began, which took a longer time.
Eventually the family was finished, had paid at the table and left.
After some time the table was cleared.
After another 5 minutes we left without words.
We sat at the assigned table for about 50 minutes.
During this time, various employees walked past us tens of times, not a single eye contact.
On the way to the car we met the group again from the next table; they had still looked at the vintage cars.
Their tenor: the second visit here for a long time; there will be no third.
We do not need a second visit for this assessment.

Leider enttäuschend
Die Ausstattung der Zimmer und des Hotels waren zwar ok, das Frühstückbuffet aber eher spartanisch und leider ziemlich leer gegessen als wir kamen. Auch nach ca. einer Stunde wurde nichts aufgefüllt. Die böse Überraschung erlebten wir allerdings beim Auschecken. Auf Nachfrage hatten wir am Abend zuvor die Sauna benutzt. Das hierfür zusätzliche Gebühren anfallen wurde uns dabei nicht mitgeteilt. Ein Hinweis darauf war auch weder in den Zimmern noch im ganzen Haus zu finden. Die Preise waren gesalzen, dafür das es noch nicht mal kaltes Wasser nach dem Saunagang gab. Leider am Ende ein überteuerter Hotelbesuch und auch auf unsere diversen E-Mails und Anrufe hat sich bis heute niemand vom Hotel bei uns zurück gemeldet.

Beschriebener Pool nicht vorhanden, WLAN nicht funktioniert, Internet und Handyempfang kaum vorhanden, frische Handtücher nach 2 Tagen selber geholt, Zimmerreinigung und Zimmerservice trotz anwesender Corona-Gruppe nicht täglich, bis auf eine sehr nette, tätowierte Mitarbeiterin und einen jungen bemühten Mann leider Personal eher inkompetent und arrogant in Erinnerung geblieben.
