Pleasant restaurant in the Old City

Nice cosy restaurant by the clock which has an angel come out every hour. You can sit outside or inside. They serve vegetarian or fish dishes and the meals were tasty. I enjoyed the trout dish and pumpkin soup

Ooh Lala Leila

The mushroom soup and trout can both be recommended. The mushroom soup in broth with tarragon is a welcome respite from the usual heavy cream versions. The trout with rice and veggies was tasty with sweet and sour fruity sauce. The decor is as detailed as the Georgian paintings it derives from. The twittering birds and soft ?Georgian make for a good conversational setting. And don't forget to sit under the plum tree. Although the tour guide said it was a legend made up by the cafe owner, you just don't know if sitting under the plum will make the sittee a bride within a year.

Good location

Clean and nice house in good location in old Tbilisi.
Affordable price , kitchen with all facilities, washing machine, ... all good points of leila hostel.
Leila is a very hospitable and kind lady.
She is so helpful.

Very good location and that's it

The hostel has a very good location in the old town of Tbilisi. The host speaks hardly english, the rooms are average, just enough to spend the night on the way to other places in Georgia. The bathroom was ok as for the standards we encountered in Georgia.
