Super petit apartment in the heart of Paris near Notre Dame and Louvre

Very nice petit apartment in the heart of Paris.
10 min walk from Notre Dame Cathedral and Louvre Museum. 100 Mar from the Metro and in a very nice neighborhood near Centre Pompidou.
We were 3 adults and the apartment was top for 2 days Paris!
We will definitely be back here.

Authentic Paris Experience? Not sure.

The guy who greeted us manages several properties. He was still very communicative, did a great job. The facility, however, is lacking. Lighting on the steps to the room is non existent. Elevator was broken (but they did apologize for this and offered a future night on them). Laundry facility is in a common area and not easy to use. I had to remove someone's laundry that had been there for a while, just sitting in the washer. Doors were difficult to open due to antiquated locks and deadbolt apparatus. One window I saw in the hallway had a broken pane of glass. Sheets were clean but we didn't really have enough pillows for the two beds. AC was really cold and seemed to work good.

Selfish owner

We have been politely requesting our booking for December 2021 to be rescheduled because while Europe is open, Australia is still in hard lockdown and borders are closed until mid next year (force majure).
The owner is refusing to reschedule although he has over 5 months notice to book a new customer for those dates and will not lose any money by rescheduling, and instead of being generous in this instance he is choosing to rather steal hundreds of dollars from us.
This was a surprise 40th birthday gift I saved money and booked the holiday in secret for my husband and this experience leaves a bitter taste into something that was very thoughtful and sweet.
I wouldn’t recommend dealing with this type of person. Agoda who we booked through did not help us either and I wouldn’t use them again.

Very Well Appointed and New, Superb Location

We are a group of 4 adults and the apartment suited us well with one double bed and one sofa bed for 2. It was thouroughly modern and new.
Adequately sized, with space for a dining table and kitchen appliances. Toilet and bathroom were in new condtion.
Proximity to Carrefour supermarket and also other types of shops. Just avoid the souvenir shop on the same side of the road towards the Notre Dame just a few doors down. They scammed me by returning me my change in Spanish Pesos instead of Euros.
But for cheap eats, try Kraft Hot Dogs. They were great!

Disgusting

Our visit started with the late arrival by the owner followed by the demand for 40 more Euros to cover “cleaning”. My husband booked this place for a five night stay in Paris. Out of sheer stubbornness we stuck it out for two. Big mistake. The place was disgusting. The bedding and towels had holes and stains. The towels were thin threadbare and small. The apartment was worn and not maintained— tile missing, dips in wood uncarpeted floor. After the first night my husband felt ill and decided to pull out the sofa bed to give us each extra space. The sheet had blood stains on it. While the shower stall appeared on first examination to have been cleaned a really bad mold odor appeared after we used the shower. As an asthmatic I have a heightened awareness of mold and mildew odors. The shower just stank. While the most obvious surfaces had been wiped ledges and edges were not well cleaned.
After the second night we went in search of cleaner healthier accommodations in spite of the additional cost. It was that or ruining the entire trip.
Avoid this rip off at all costs.
