Marignan and you are in Paris
Hotel located in an excellent position, very kind and attentive staff.
Despite having one star, it has everything minimally necessary.
For value for money and location, I would say it's the best.

Wonderful Experience
We had a terrific stay. The location was excellent. Could walk just a few blocks and see Notre Dame.
We had a room on the top floor and had a shower down the hall. But, that was not an issue at all. Most of the rooms have their own showers and bathrooms.
The room was clean and the breakfast was good.
The hotelier, Roland is helpful and made excellent recommendations for where to eat.
I will recommend this hotel to my friends.

Thank you for your comment. We have rooms from 1 to 5 people. 85 % of the rooms have private shower/toilet, some like yours are more economical. But all have a good mattress. Glad you like our delicious croissant and bread at Breakfast.
We have a diversity of clients ( single, couple, families, business people, former yuppies, hippster ...). And every is gettin along
Just remember that when you reserv directly you benefit from a better price and breakfast is included.
We have selected restaurants in our neigberhoud and in other district. they have all of good quality/price ratio.

Wonderful Stay in Paris
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel.
The staff were friendly, welcoming, and very kind, which made my stay comfortable and enjoyable.
The location is excellent, with easy access to Notre-Dame Cathedral and other attractions in central Paris.
I hope this review will be helpful for Japanese travelers planning a trip to Paris.

Thank you for your comment. We have rooms from 1 to 5 people. Service and advising our clients is in our DNA. To bing a good service to our clients we have also a free washer/ dryer, a free use of our equipped kitchen, a 4 * free wifi ( fiber optic high speed).
Our clients can print/scan/copy free of charge.

Scarce breakfasts and poor organization!
A sparse breakfast with only a croissant, a small single-use package of jam, one of butter, and a piece of baguette per person. Coffee and a little milk. We requested an extra package of jam for the children, but it was denied to us. On the last day of our stay, just after breakfast, I asked to settle what we owed because we would be leaving very early the next morning; I was told that I would have to do it in the evening with the lady on duty in the afternoon by 8 PM... so we were forced to revise our plans to make the payment... absurd!

Regarding breakfast, we serve every morning fresh croissants and bread from our local bakery, along with coffee, tea, hot chocolate, butter, jam and orange juice. Guests who book directly benefit from breakfast included, while reservations made through online platforms are charged 8€ per person.
Of course, guests may request extra jam or bread at no additional cost. It seems there was a misunderstanding during your stay, and we sincerely apologize for this.
Concerning payment, our reception is open for check-out procedures every day from 8:00 to 22:00. We regret the miscommunication that led you to adjust your plans, and we will reinforce our internal procedures to avoid this situation in the future.
We would also like to highlight that our hotel is one of the few in the Latin Quarter offering family rooms at an affordable rate, with many complimentary services: free washer/dryer, free access to our fully equipped kitchen, and special prices for Seine River boat tours.
Our location, in a quiet street of the historical center of Paris, makes us a long‑standing choice for families we have been welcoming three generations of guests for over 40 years.

Excellent hotel
We just went to Paris as a family and stayed at the Marignan hotel; we had a great time. I had requested a room on the second floor at most, and we were on the ground floor, which was very convenient for us having two daughters, one of whom is three years old. The hotel is on a quiet street, with a school nearby. There. Our room was clean, and the bathroom with the requested shower was also clean; the beds were very comfortable. Good breakfast; we really enjoyed the baguettes and croissants. Kindness of the staff (having a daughter with celiac disease, they provided gluten-free toast and suggested an excellent organic store nearby). The hotel is just steps from Notre Dame, with a nearby metro; we also took advantage of the cruise by purchasing tickets at the hotel. Thanks to Roland and his staff for the kindness with which they welcomed us and provided various information. Excellent value for money. Thank you finally for calling us a taxi to the airport on the last day. Recommended. If we were to return one day, we would definitely want to stay here again.
