Honest review with tips
We couldn't check in when arrived so they stowed our luggage safely, this is a good option for early arrivals. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms adequate. My daughter found mosquitoes making their way into her room from god knows where but we managed to kill them before she got bit. Just an FYI.
I personally didn't find the breakfast as good as what people said. I'm pescatarian so it does limit the options but they had a toaster but no bread to toast. For 14€ its too expensive and you can find loads of cafes around that offer so much more...plus I like a normal coffee in the morning and the machine only offered lattes etc and only filled half a cup which means you have to press button twice and then its too milky.
We came back late on our 2nd night to discover the main door locked with no access to swipe key card to get in. We waited 15 minutes for a member of staff to return to reception who apologised and explained they have to lock the door if unmanned. While I totally appreciate this and agree with this process when you are desperate for the toilet, you just feel annoyed so its a shame that they can't ensure two staff in evening or a way for guests to gain access with their cards. One to note if you return late.
Other than that stay was fine and would happily stay again.

Thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed and honest review of your stay. We are truly pleased to read that you would recommend our hotel and appreciated our location, friendly team, comfortable beds, and lovely rooms. It is also great to know that our luggage storage service was helpful upon your early arrival.
Regarding your room, we are sorry to hear that the upgrade did not fully meet your expectations. As upgrades may include different layouts and amenities, we understand that preferences vary.
Concerning the mosquitoes, while we wish we had control over Parisian mosquitoes (we truly would if we could!), unfortunately this is beyond our control, especially during warmer periods when windows may occasionally be opened. That said, we are glad your daughter was ultimately not bitten.
We were, however, genuinely surprised to read your comments about breakfast, particularly as a pescatarian guest. Our breakfast buffet includes premium smoked salmon alongside many vegetarian options such as falafels, potato rösti, mushrooms, tomatoes, rocket salad, and a generous selection of French cheeses from different regions. We also regularly feature seasonal specialties — for example, last month’s featured product was a creamy goat cheese served with fresh radishes and chives.
In addition, we are proud to work with a local artisanal bakery, offering the delivery every morning with a wide selection of freshly baked French pastries and breads including mini croissants, pains au chocolat, chouquettes, brioches, traditional baguettes, seeded breads, rustic country bread, and fruit loaves. We also offer yogurts, jams, honey, maple syrup, spreads, crêpes or pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, and a large selection of charcuterie to suit many tastes and so much more. Regarding coffee, our organic coffee comes from a historic Parisian roaster, and our machine does offer milk-free options such as espresso, double espresso, and americano. Of course, our team is always available to assist should guests need any help or recommendations.
As for late-night access, for security reasons the hotel entrance is locked from 11 PM when reception may occasionally be away from the desk. During check-in, all guests are informed that access is provided via the video intercom system located to the right of the main entrance door, which connects directly with our night receptionist who can promptly open the door. We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience you experienced on this occasion.
Thank you again for sharing both the positives and areas for improvement. We are pleased to know that despite these points, you enjoyed your stay overall and would happily return. We would be delighted to welcome you back to Hotel Brittany on your next visit to Paris.
Kind regards,
