Wonderful small boutique hotel with tasteful modern decor, and lots of very thoughtfully considered and well-placed amenities throughout, plus lovely indoor/outdoor area for the delicious home-made breakfast, and wonderful, helpful staff. The room was very clean, and althought the room was fairly small it was well-designed, so it was very comfortable. Would definitely return!

Disappointing stay and Management Response to medical situation

We were genuinely excited for our family vacation, but the hotel’s handling of our situation fell shockingly short of what anyone should expect from a 4‑star property. After our son broke his foot and required surgery, I reached out politely to request a small date adjustment. Instead of showing understanding and flexibility, the hotel immediately hid behind a non‑refundable rate — despite the fact that we were not canceling our stay, only shifting the dates due to a medical emergency.
Even worse, despite repeatedly informing staff of our revised arrival date, we continued to receive a message accusing us of being a no‑show and threatening to cancel our reservation. This level of internal miscommunication would be concerning at any hotel, but at a 4‑star establishment, it is simply unacceptable.
The most disappointing part was the complete absence of real leadership from the hotel manager. A 4‑star manager is expected to step in, acknowledge unusual circumstances, and ensure guests feel supported. Instead, she never addressed our situation directly and hid behind her employees. The only message we ever received from her was a tone‑deaf, generic “I hope your stay is going wonderfully” email — sent one day after our original check‑in date. It was painfully clear she had no idea we hadn’t even checked in and had ignored the multiple messages explaining why. This is not 4‑star service; it’s a breakdown in basic hospitality.
When we finally arrived on the updated date, we were only allowed to stay one night, despite having paid for five. The remaining nights we paid for were simply not honored. No 4‑star hotel should ever treat guests this way, especially during a medical crisis.
The lack of empathy, accountability, and professionalism overshadowed what should have been a joyful family trip. For a hotel that markets itself as a 4‑star property, the experience we received was nowhere close to that standard.

Tiny room. Not unusual in Paris, but the door opening brushed the bed!
Perfectly comfortable though with everything I needed. Good breakfast which was very varied for Paris.

I enjoyed my stay here and recommend to others. Located in a calm area in the 17th. Rooms are small but you have everything you need. Staff are friendly and helpful.
