Delighted

We spent one night at La Maison de la Monne with my two daughters, and we were enchanted. The owners are adorable, very welcoming, and kind. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We had dinner on-site; the chicken curry was excellent, and the breakfast was hearty.
The setting is magnificent, quiet, and relaxing, with superb landscapes. We regret not staying longer, as there are many hikes and beautiful discoveries to be made in the surrounding area.
It was our first experience at a gîte, and it far exceeded our expectations. We will return with great pleasure. Thanks again for your warm welcome; we recommend this place without hesitation!

Top-notch welcome. Lucas has taken over this establishment only 2 months ago with his partner. He was in the installation phase and did not yet offer all the services, and while we, tired hikers, arrived unexpectedly, he did everything to serve and help us. A thousand thanks to him and good luck in his new life.

Kindness and availability!

Very beautiful cottage, quiet, with lovely outdoor spaces. While passing through on the GR, during the heatwave, we were welcomed with great kindness and availability by the new owner, who was a great help to us. A stop not to be missed under any circumstances on the GR30!

Damage…

Nice cottage in a good location, the restaurant is pleasant but the comfort is basic and above all:
1) Overpriced consumption: the 120mL pot of ice cream costs €5, an apple taken in addition to the menu by my daughter (who didn't like her dessert - which I was happy to eat ) m was charged €6.5 (true! And non-negotiable…)
2) Lack of environmental awareness: picnics are provided in disposable plastic boxes, whereas it would have been possible, since we were staying, to provide them in returnable boxes. Also impossible to use my Tupperware so that I can take the picnic in it (“too complicated”)

Quel dommage

Pour un mariage avec privatisation jusque 16h le lendemain donc coût non négligeable.
Chambres moyennes pour le prix : 85€ la nuit avec pdj en dortoir sommaire.
Le matin à 9h, le staff souhaite commencer le ménage des chambres donc frappe aux portes des chambres et relancent les mariés pendant le pdj (très succinct au passage). Je monte après le pdj a 10h pour récupérer nos affaires et libérer la chambre : je retrouve mes affaires dans le couloir, sorties de la chambre!
Très dommage car les lieux sont très agréables et se prêtent vraiment à ce type d’événement.
