Fantastic hosts and wonderful villa

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Paignon. We were attending a friend's wedding 10 minutes away and this was the perfect place to stay and relax around the wedding events.
The hosts Derek and John are amazing and cannot do enough for you they think of everything from the welcome drink to fabulous breakfasts and Pinot the dog is lovely and friendly.
We had a walk around the grounds and a dip in the pool which was lovely. Wish we had an extra day to relax.

Wonderful stay

This was a lovely experience from beginning to end. We were warmly welcomed by our hosts, John and Derek, who couldn’t have been kinder or more helpful during our stay. This beautiful house with comfortable modern rooms is a true gem! The pool is beautiful and the breakfast was delicious, but it’s the general atmosphere of this place which is truly captivating. Highly recommended if you’re staying anywhere near this area.

Brilliant place to stay

Had a fabulous stay at Villa Paignon. Upon arrival we were met by Derek and John who were brilliant hosts from start to finish. John gave us a tour of the house, gardens and outbuildings along with the cellars. We were also given a history of the place which was fascinating to learn. The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable with fresh crisp bedding and fluffy white towels. The breakfast was exceptional and we found nothing was too much trouble for the hosts who gave us such a relaxing stay. We were given advice for places to visit and where to eat which we really appreciated. Would highly recommend the Villa as a place to stay and hope we can return another day.

Sometimes you end up somewhere where you fall from one surprise to another.
We had that experience in recent days at Villa Paignon.
A beautifully renovated chateau / country house with everything you like to get if you want to get away for a few days.
It already starts with the greeting by the 2 castle lords, welcome drink, tour. Lovely room, fully equipped. A superb bed, spacious bathroom, clean!
During the day, after a delicious breakfast, wonderfully located by the pool.
Good restaurants nearby, Angouleme (nice town) within easy reach.
So....we will be back soon!

Exceptional Residence

We stayed one night in this beautiful residence for a wedding in the region.
We were extremely well received by the owners, very welcoming, cheerful, available. They took great care of us during our stay and made our visit as pleasant as possible.
The house was magnificently renovated by them.
Magnificent chic and sober rooms, each with its own bathroom.
Very pleasant breakfast.
And their magnificent dog “Pino” who also welcomed us!
Experience to repeat!!
I highly recommend!!
