Chalet with a modern atmosphere with careful and succulent cuisine.
An impromptu stop at the restaurant of this chalet and an excellent address. Chalet with a warm and modern atmosphere. Very well located at the Col des Aravis. Very pleasant and efficient staff. Careful and succulent cuisine. Set of the day for €27 for 3 dishes. Fireplace warms us. Do not hesitate.

Exceptional!
The Chalet is set in a magical location in the col des Aravis with amazing views of the Mont Blanc summit. The rooms are very cosy, comfortable, with views and sleep levels are second to none thanks to absolute silence prevailing around the chalet (zero traffic at night). It is a short drive to La Clusaz village centre (5-7 minutes tops). As if that was not enough, the restaurant dishes quality are absolutely sublime and are served more than generously. Pick the Lamb stew as it is probably the best I have ever eaten (you can even swap the polenta that comes with it for their amazing truffled flavoured mashed potato. But what makes this whole experience memorable is the attention from the staff who are catering to every need always with a smile and a good spirit. Highly recommended!!!

Stay here ! Here is a really fun and cozy hotel. Walk out from the door and you have the nature and hiking right outside the door. Inside is so nice. Warm and a lot of nice and speciell interiour decoration. We stayed in the musicroom. It was guitars and recordplayer to use. So fun. Clean and comfartable bathroom. If i shall complain about one thing it is the bed. The bed is hard and not so comfy. But overall it is a very nice place and i want to come back.

Alpine welcome, sunny hospitality, and warm memories
This hotel clings to a mountainside above the town of Sallanches in the valley of the Arve. Getting your car into the parking area is easy if it has a tiny turning circle, or if it’s a bicycle. But it isn’t beyond the bounds of any ingenious person, and the parking area itself is ample.
Stéphane, the owner of Les Rhodos, met us at the door with a smile and a handshake. His friendliness in the first moments turned out to be his natural state - helpful and genuine, Stéphane and his staff did everything they could to help us feel at home.
The lounge area has two panoramic windows, the larger looking out over the Val d’Arve, Passy and the Massif du Varan, and the smaller towards Mont Blanc, whose summit appears between the treetops across the street.
One of our party cannot eat anything with the smallest trace of derivatives of milk. In France, with its creams and cheeses, yoghurts and butters in every dish, this is often a major challenge. To Stéphane, who is also the chef, it was no problem at all to provide tasty and satisfying meals with no trace of milk, as well as for the vegetarians in the group, and, of course, for the most carnivorous of us too.
The hotel has been renovated recently, with evident care and attention to detail. Each room is decorated in its own way, underpinned by a definite Alpine chalet feeling with wooden walls and spectacular views. Each is spotlessly clean, comfortable and, by Alpine standards, spacious. The bed was excellent and the bathroom modern.
The room was equipped with WIFI (ask Stéphane for the code) but I didn’t try it.
The breakfast is a generous buffet of of fruit, cereals, croissants, those tiny squidgy delicious pains au chocolate, breads, honey and jam.
The hotel accepts pets, and walking your dog couldn’t be easier, with trails starting within a few tens of metres of the hotel.
Apart from the friendly owners, the excellent views, the good local cooking, and the comfortable rooms, what else does the hotel offer? Ah, yes! A hot tub and reasonable prices.
This was our second visit. The first time, we walked off with the room key, but Stéphane took even that irritation amicably.

Warm and friendly welcome [and help to plan wonderful days], beautiful view of the Mont Blanc, nice rooms with balcony [..small toilet], free Wi-Fi all around, good standard continental breakfast and great dinner with diff menu every evening.
