A quiet family break.

During our family trip to Baie de Somme, we could enjoy a break in a quiet and green place with neat decoration.
The rooms were clean, we were very well received and I liked the decoration especially that of the portico.

Cute little overnight

Stayed her after the tunnel on trip to southern France. Just over an hour from the tunnel. Lovely room, clean, nicely furnished. Good breakfast. A covid stay and all precautions taken. Restaurants In nearest villages 10 minute drive in either direction. Not gourmet but fine.

A Great Experience

Having been let down late at night by the Chateau de Yaucourt-Bussus, the owner couldn’t have been more helpful, saying there was no problem with our dog. The house is quiet, secluded, secure. Excellent facilities, including a jacuzzi and wonderful breakfast with good cheeses, rice pudding, homemade jams. After a stressful time we have a very good night’s sleep. Beautifully decorated with antique furniture and bric à brac. Note that this chambre d’hôte doesn’t take credit cards. If you need an overnight stop, set your satnav and go there. Enjoy!

Everything done to make the stay really good

The greeting was warm and this set the scene for a lovely stay. The setting and room were both excellent and on a very hot day (36 C) being given immediately on arrival cold drinks was just what was needed. We needed to leave early so missed breakfast but it looked very inviting. Will hopefully stay there again.

Another excellent stay!

We stay at La Nicoulette several times per year on our journey to and from our house in the Haute Pyrennees.
We cannot recommend La Nicoulette enough - very quirky, spotlessly clean and always a warm welcome from Solange (the owner) and Max (the dog!)
The breakfast is first class with many homemade items such as cakes and jams.
All of the rooms are in the grounds with beautiful gardens and garden chairs to relax in.
This chambre d'hôte is well worth a visit!
