Hotel was very convenient and well located. Nice calm relaxed atmosphere. Room was very clean and spacious.
Buffet breakfast had a very good selection. Excellent value.
Just one suggestion. As it is a buffet perhaps trays would be useful to save on trips to the counter.
Very nice stay and friendly staff.

My family and I enjoyed the hotel. It's at a peaceful and pretty location in Combourg, The personnel is very friendly and the host speaks good English. Good breakfast. Only thing not so good: the wifi in the rear building is weak and often breaks connection. And the doors shut very loud (tip for the owner: add some felt?). The beds are ok.

The hotel lacked character, the atmosphere and decoration was austaire as they would say in france, a lacking in decor. we were placed in rooms in the back of the hotel where it felt, empty and soulless.

The hotel room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was lovely and they had a garage to securely stow our bikes overnight. The hotel is in a fantastic location for lake, chateau and village.
The hotel had just been taken over by a lovely young couple who had a plan to develop the property over the next few years. I will return in a few years to see how their vision was realised.
